I burn 1,800 calories a DAY running 5-7 miles, boxing for 60 minutes, and doing ballet (or any type of dance...example: modern, tap, Irish, hip hop, etc) for 60 minutes...My work out is much less time consuming than the above suggested and it burns, what, 12,600 in a week?

That's an incredible burn rate. I don't think I could workout everyday at that level of intensity. Back in September I burned around 12k in calories in one week. But, it was mainly due to a two day biking event I participated in where I biked close to 200 miles over a weekend. It sounds like you're working out for 2 to 3 hours everyday. On average I workout for about 1.5 hours 4 to 5 times a week. I can't burn calories at that rate running for 60 minutes. I'm running 6 miles at a 7ish minute mile pace and my calorie burn is around 800-900. I used to take Kenpo classes, and I can remember sparring took a lot out of me. I've never tried dancing as exercise. But, my wife says her Zumba classes are a good workout.0
