I don't like the bulky look or even muscular arms.
But some do. A "toned up" (correct terminology) arm or body is just muscle that's "toned up" with more body fat covering it. Muscularity depends on lower body fat levels. This is a concept you still haven't been able to decipher.

Hmmm. I could say, "I don't like flabby, cellulitey arms." But then that would make me an @sshole. Darn.

I think you have to work reeeeallly hard (in the gym and with your diet) to look like any of these women. The first woman is bulky. The other women are all lean and very muscular.

Personally... I don't aspire to look like any of these women. They all have much lower body fat than I find personally appealing. I would like to be fit/lean, but still have a little more 'cushion' over my muscles. I would consider my body ideal to be something like Jessica Biel. (which will never happen because I am a 40 year old woman covered with 40 year old skin! LOL)

Muscularity or the "muscle look" is based on BF percentage. I lift heavy and I'll never look "muscular", if I don't lose that fat.

When I hear bulky, I think fat. Muscles are lean, fat is bulky. (See 5lb of muscles vs 5 lbs of fat)

    I don't like either look.

The last 3 women have probably gone through several bulk and cut cycles to gain that muscle size and then remove over lying fat. They are gorgeous in my opinion and have the look I'm going for.

    Caloric surplus.

I have large quads/thighs but that didn't happen overnight and it certainly wasn't the instantaneous result of squatting over my bodyweight. Running, cycling, and sprints (gasp! Cardio!) were also contributors to the size of my legs.

The only of the last three women I recognize is Jamie Eason. Here's some other photos from her FB page showing what those same muscles look like with slightly higher BF%.

How they look when competing isn't how they look every day.

Why would anyone want to settle for untoned arms...

...when they could have sleek, toned arms?

Oh ok...personal preference. I can respect that. I personally am trying to find a balance where I look athletic, but still maintain a certain percentage of BF to remain "soft". Around 19-20% BF. Im 24% now

I don't like pineapples. What's that got to do with the topic at hand?
