Left home this morning for some family business and I won't be back before next Tuesday. I had to drive north for about 5 hours to get to my birthplace (its the town in the picture), but being such a diehard @ss-mover I still squeezed in a 3-mile walk. With a couple of 10K-ish hikes up the mountains in the background planned for the weekend, hopefully I'll manage to stay on track.
The area is famous as a ski resort and for it's pinot grigio type red wines.
There isn't enough snow to go skiing yet. Guess what I'm gonna be doing tonight. :drinker: :drinker:

I am back for my 2nd month, last month's goal was 90miles and I managed to surpass that so this month I am going to shoot for 100miles and see how that goes.

Ran my 3 mile route yesterday and a great beachwalk this morning for another 3, so that puts us at 6/100.

I think I will go for 50 miles, since I am a newbie to both this group and MFP.
Me too I'll go for 50 miles, I'm only recently back on MFP so don't want to set an unrealistic goal for myself ! Hopefully I can do it! I've already done 3 of those miles so 47 more to go !0 -

Hello everyone! I'd love to join this challenge as the first 6 months of 2010 I was out of commission with double herniated discs, then uterine fibroid surgery so I'm finally back to working out regularly. I'm also new to this site and loving it! Since I did 4 miles today on the elliptical, I'll shoot for 40 miles between elliptical, swimming and rowing since docs don't want me running anymore.
