My goal is more than last month (which was just under 120, I think).
On the bike trainer:
12/1 - 60 minutes - 13.42 miles
12/2 - 30 minutes - 7.61 miles
Total so far: 21.03 miles0 -
Day 1: Daily commute - 38 miles, 101 mins, 1541 cals burnt (HRM)
Day 2: Daily commute - 41 miles, 171 mins, 1576 cals burnt (HRM)
Total Dec Distance: 79 miles
Day 3: Pre-breakfast ride - 19 miles, 80 mins, 694 cals burnt (HRM)
Total Dec Distance: 98 miles0 -

I'm In as long as a stationary bike is ok? I normally do about 60 miles a week.0

I'm in for 400 this month. Won't be a full month of commuting, due to Christmas, so I am unlikely to hit much more than that.0

I'm pretty sure I will get 100 miles indoors this month.
This will be the 3rd weekend of ski season for me, so my focus is shifting. The resorts here haven't opened yet, so I'm climbing for my turns. I love having an entire ski resort to myself and a few other guys like me. After a good snow storm the conditions are epic!0 -
Thanks again Rick for having this monthly challenge. I've been with you since July this year and have lost at least 20 of my lbs due to biking. Next year, I'll set a goal for the year and will work towards that. For December, I'll go with 100 miles on the stationary bike.0

I just saw that stationary cycling is okay, so I'm going to go ahead and add mine.
My goal is 300 for the month since I plan to get back to the gym, I probably won't be on the bike quite as much.
Dec 1: 5 mil (had a long walk and a gym workout)
Dec 2: 25.2 mil
Dec 3: rest day
Dec 4: 30.1 mil
Dec 5: 20.4 mil
total so far: 80.70 -
Can I still join in? I'm new to cycling and just got my first road bike (have always been a mountain biker!). I'm totally addicted. Let's see, I'll put my goal at 300 for the month.
I'm in AZ so can definitely do some outdoor riding, but I'm a wimp so we'll see how much I actually get outdoors to do it.
Dec 1 - 8 miles (RT to the gym for some swimming and treadmill)
Dec 2 - 21 miles
I've been too wimpy to brave the 30s and rain we've been having in the mornings, but the rain is gone and this week is supposed to warm up, so I'm planning on a ride (with leg warmers and gloves) tomorrow.
