    1 handful dandelion greens
    1 handful parsley
    1 handful spinach
    1 banana
    1 orange
    1 cup frozen raspberries

Some substitutions I made. I used sprouted sunflower seeds for the dandelion greens I didn't have, no orange so that didn't happen and the cup of frozen raspberries became 1/2 cup raspberries and 1/2 strawberries. I also added Vega Vanilla Chai in it as well with a cup of water.

I am holding up fine Babynew. I don't think another 14 would be good as my schedule over Christmas will involve travelling and being able to have one every day probably won't work.

Oh I'm up for another 14! This morning, I didn't have time for a freshly made green smoothie. I made one from a Columbia Gorge wild blackberry smoothie, 1 TB of Green foods Magma Plus powder and 1 scoop of Whey Factors unflavored protein powder. Pretty tasty. I still have 2 baby bok choy, swiss chard and red kale and some spinach to use this week. I still may make a fresh one for my dinner tonight. Yum, yeah, mango and pineapple with chard and spinach.

Let's keep it going through the holidays. January's coming! I had planned on doing a whole foods detox in April, so I want to give myself a big jumpstart and drink green smoothies everyday during the Winter months.

@Kokomojoe~ You don't have to go without your greens. Get some Green Vibrance and mix it with 100% juice or mix it in yogurt if you still eat dairy. Although, there is soy yogurt and rice yogurt.

FOR NO AMOUNT OF MONEY ON THE PLANET WOULD THIS GO INTO MY MOUTH! GOOD LUCK

I am starting a 14 day green smoothie challenge. I will post the smoothie every day that I am drinking. Please be advised that I am not responsible for what they taste like as I am getting this via e mail every day. From looking at the recipe I may be adding in a raw egg or protein powder to add to it.

    Todays recipe:

    Green Smoothie Recipe
    ½ head of romaine lettuce
    3 bananas
    2 cups water

    Day 9 Almost finished

    2 handfuls of baby spinach

You can use aloe as a wonderful salve for burns. I usually keep a medium size aloe in my kitchen.
If I burn myself cooking I just snip off a piece and rub on the burn. It works wonders for sunburns.
had never thought of using it in a smoothie. will most definitely be trying this! :)
