Taco Bell!!!
You might need a C-section or episiotomy to make this come through. Best wishes.
not to LOL but this ^^^
but really EAT or drink PRUNES! I have 2 prunes and a fiberone brownie every morning with my tea and it keeps me regular. I have always had lots of problems in this department.0 -
PS. don't eat bananas, apples or yogurt.0

Like others have said, please go see a doctor. This may continue to happen (it's common with post-gallbladder surgery) but 20 days is beyond the norm.0

When I can't go i have a few vodka and redbulls and a *kitten*. works every time for me!0 -
My husband who also had his GB out swears by sauerkraut.0

I think you can have something like up to 50grams of fiber so I'd add more fiber. Also, lots of things have fiber that will bind you up. Like fiber one bars can actually be binding in the long run. Veggies and Fruits...best fiber around!0

A cig does work every time, huh? Hahaha!0 -
Eat sweet potatoes with skin. This works for me like a charm. Also kale/spinach/carrot/apple/pear juice together works too.0

I read an article a couple of years ago about a Japanese solution.
When you get up in the morning, drink 4 very large glasses of water -- I tried it and swear by it. Now I start every day by drinking two.0 -

Here is a nice easy natural laxative to try. Take a lemon and cut it in half, squeeze juice into one cup of water and add the lemon rind then bring to a boil. drink it hot or cold. only do this for 3 days (3 days on, 3 days off) This tends to work for me in less than 24 hours but takes my husband a few days.0

This happens to me, I have went to see my Dr about it, turns out that I do not need the reccommended fiber intake - if I eat that or more it works opposite than the way you would think. I suggest you go to yours but until you can get in there... Boiled cabbage, instant coffee, tons of water, the Q-Tip with vaseline (which was brought up) works wonderfuly.
I hope you can get this resolved its a horrible feeling. Good luck!0 -
Yikes! I think you might want to get a checkup.
On the bright side, you'll probably have some weight loss when thus issue is cleared up!0 -
i poop multiple times a day. i can't imagine just once in 20 days. sounds like you need to make a trip to el doctoro!!!!0
-
You really need to increase your fruit intake.
You should definitely try some Miralax, colace, and milk of magnesia.
You need to see a doctor.

I'm sure this get's brought up all the time but plan and simple I can not poop. It's going on almost 20 days with only 1 small BM. I eat 25 grams of fiber and all that goes is give me terrible gas. I know I do not eat enough veggies. I had my gallbladder out a year ago and this has been an issue every since. I thought without a gallbladder it was supposed to be the opposite. I hate to rely on laxatives but I am starting to feel huge and heavy and already sickish in the AMs. Any easy/fast remedies? TIA!
I've had a similar problem, the solution; exercise, at least 9 glasses of water and lots of fruit and veggies. The laxatives will turn your colon black so I wuldn't use those as a solution.0 -
I had my gallbladder out too and recommended fiber intake is terrible for me...backs me up, horrible cramping and gas... My morning cup of coffee is what keeps me regular! When I do get to the point of "issues" occassionally I drink 1-2 tbsp of milk of magnesia at bedtime (11pm) and by the time I get up(5am) I am ready to go! Hope things are "going" better for you!0

I've been having some trouble too, but after reading all of these posts... I think I need to go now. :laugh:0

This happened to me a few summers ago. I went like once every 2 weeks. I gained FIFTEEN pounds! I went to the doctor and she had me doing really horrible things involving sticking things in my butt...NOT OK.
I went to the GI and he put me on a regime of citricel and stool softeners 2x/day. It really helped, but took awhile to normalize.
I also used to drink Ginger tea (the one from Yogi Tea), and it always got me going.
I know how uncomfortable it is, so hang in there! Also, not eating at night seemed to help me. Good luck! Keep us updated on your poop status0 -
PS when it did finally happen for me, I did feel like I gave birth. It's gonna be awesome!0
