Rowing machine, but only when the river is frozen. (I concede that the river is not in the gym. But the rowing shell is still my favorite machine of all.)

    Smith Machine!

Yes, I like the fact that my gym has a Smith Machine also! It ensures that the squat rack is more likely to be free.

Machine preacher curl. I have a bad habit of leaning backwards during standing curls, but preachers let me keep better form.

I love the arc trainer. It's the only machine I can do on for hours at a time without dying and gasping for air!
I also use the elliptical and the stationary bike. I do intervals on the treadmill, and the other day I started warming up on the stair master.
Do you have any recommendations for machines to use at the gym? What is your favorite?

Rowing machine! It's not at all tiring yet you can burn so many calories fast

Squat rack is not a machine.

    Says who?

    To be pedantic...

    Oxford English

An apparatus using mechanical power and having several parts, each with a definite function and together performing a particular task:
    a fax machine
    1.1 [WITH MODIFIER] A coin-operated dispenser:
    a cigarette machine
1.2 technical Any device that transmits a force or directs its application.
1.3An efficient and well-organized group of powerful people:

Right now, treadmill, particularly for the trail running programs. But the rower is easier on my right knee, so I had to add that back into my cardio routine.

My exercise of choice is running, but I simply hate the treadmill. Even though I do it when I can't go outside, so I guess we can say it's the equipment I love to hate.

The machine that I do love and gets my heart pumping is the stepper. I burn more calories on it than when I'm running outside.

The only machines I use is the Hammer Strength Incline Press and calf Raise Machine. Other then that I am just barbell and dumbbells. So with that said I guess the Hammer Strength Incline Press

There always has to be that one guy. People are just having fun, you must've missed my comment about the dumbbell rack.

If it's a machine, it's the one with all sorts of cable exercises (cable crossover, row, tricep pressdown, lat pulldown)
