How about starting fresh since there is so much negativity here.
A "Bring It" thread for the week of 2/23.
Good luck - love the enthusiasm of the thread! :drinker:

New thread started team! Please take a few moments to read through the rules again so we don't get threatened with a shut-down. Thanks, and we'll see you over there!

Hey everyone,
I just want to remind everyone that we are not here to bicker about what's right and wrong. We know that this path is what's right for US, so we will continue to be forward looking and results-oriented, while maintaining balanced, fulfilling lifestyles, whether that includes cookies and tootsie rolls or not.
That being said, I really don't know why someone would drop in just to taunt us and promote our failure. Seems like a waste of time.
Anyway, as we said before, we'll do our best, forget the rest, and pay no attention to negative posts. It's funny how fitchick99's account is mysteriously deactivated already...

I want to make it clear that I didn't post on here to bicker, nor do I have a problem with your path. I think everyone is different and we all need to find what works for us. MY problem wasn't your path, but that it seemed like you were saying that those of us who do not follow your path are losers. Just because our way isn't your way, doesn't make it wrong or not successful.
I didn't workout today because I was crying most of the day because my grandfather, who raised me is dying. Is that an excuse? Would I be slammed because of it? I think a combination of the tough love path, plus loving support is best for me, personally.
I am really happy you found a path that works for you, I just wish you could be more accepting of others. I also hope your dad gets better. Lifestyles are hard to change and hopefully you can lead my example.
Question: What is your fitness plan?0 -

Hey candycaneps,
I posted my response over on our new thread. Stop by there and I'll have tried to answer in the best way possible. Thanks for coming by!0 -
mgullet needs her own website. imho.
we have these boards to discuss, to vent, to talk about whatever temptation is coming along, to help and support each other. if the tone of this site was as the OP portrayed, I would never have stuck with it this long.
I LOVE our community just like it is. all the venting, ranting, raving, support, advice,
"whiners" and all.0 -

Hi I'm still relatively new here. But I'm loving this post. I am doing my absolute best to have a total lifestyle transformation, it's going to be a long road but I have made that first step I am now on week 2 and I'm doing pretty well, I have gone from lazy, calorie-consuming blob on the couch to up-n-at-em "what's got into mom?" blur of energy, I can really tell the difference since I started eating right and exercising. I don't always get a chance to get on here and log my daily stuff, but then again I'm constantly doing something now. I need this type of encouragement though because I will slip up because yeah I'm human too. Thanks Michelle:happy: :glasses:0
