A friend and I joined this site around the same time, so of all the friends I've made here, there's only one I actually know in person. What's your story? Did you join with a friend? Have you ever meet in person any new friends that you've made on MFP?

    Most my friends that I added at the start of it all, I grew up with one way or another. But I think I'm the only left visiting here still. So all my friends that are active I do not know them some live close by though.

    I've met one. She made promises about certain things that would happen when we met. She lied.

    Although this has made me slightly hesitant to meet more people from here, I think I will give it another try.

    FYI: If you promise a handie in the movie theater, you should give a handie in the movie theater!

    I have several IRL friends on here now, and I've met a couple already.. and I'm meeting another tomorrow!


    Also, the Colorado group is planning a big GTG in January.

    I knew a couple people in person before Mfp who are on my list.

    I have met 2 other than that. One turned out to be a complete donkey. The other is wonderful, and I am so glad we decided to meet in real life!!

    ETA: there are 4 others that immediately come to mind that I really want to meet in real life and have a glass of wine (or vodka mixed drink) with. :blushing:

    I joined on my own and didn't know anyone when I started. I've met and raced with 1 friend so far and will be meeting and racing with another in the spring. Hope to meet lots more!!

    I have met a couple of my amazing MFPers... It was great and I can't share all the details.. o.O

    I have a couple more scheduled in the next month and I can't wait... MFP tour is happening!!!!
