Ended a awful relationship with a druggie (not joking I mean lots of people don't care about people occasionally taking drugs but he stole from me, from my parents, from his family URGH!)
Met a guy who whilst he might not be Mr right his perfect for where I am in my life (I'm under no impression that a relationship I have at 19 is going to last forever I mean one can hope but likely-hood of it all is very slim).
Found MFP.
Discovered through everything that I'm a lot stronger then I originally thought so if I can be strong with big decision making and be strong enough to grow up when all I wanted to do was run home crying then I figure I must be strong enough to handle everyday life making healthy choices and healthy decisions (hence joining MFP).
Bring on 2012!0 -

It's hard to say...it has been a rough year...I have moved to a new state for a job, all alone and have been single for pretty much the whole year which is new to me....my foot injury has been chronic and my health has been so-so
Here are a few of the perks I can think of:
I am finally back on track health wise...lost 7 lbs in the month of December and I feel confident that I can actually do it this time.
I have come to appreciate family even more...being away from everything you know makes you realize what things are important.
I have been dating a really great guy for about a month and a half...not sure what is going to happen, but I am grateful to have met him and he has made my life better since we have been together.
Coming to terms with my loneliness has been really difficult for me that past couple of months. It's hard making friends and meeting people at my age in a strange place, but I think it will get easier over time.
I have finally gotten better from my foot injury and about to start training for my first half-marathon that will be in April 2012.
I am so greateful for MFP and the great people I have met on here...I love having a support system and motivation and being able to help motivate others. Please add me if you would like a new MFP friend!0 -
It's not over yet, I'll get back to you on that one.0
