Started dating the man of my dreams (1.1.11) after making sure our love was real.
Getting in shape and losing so much weight
    Figuring out my future
  • Passing my law school exams with distinction.

    Getting a training contract.

The end of a relationship where I deserved much much better. Although at the time I was sad, I realise I am better off not being in said relationship. Ultimately, he didn't treat me as well he should have done.

Realising who my true friends are and spending lots of time with them.

    Running the Edinburgh half marathon.

Finding out that I had liver disease was actually the best thing that happened to me. It made me Re evaluate my life and start taking my health seriously.

Wow, there are some great achievements from the people on here. Grats to you all!!!

The best thing for me? I had a heart attack.
    - which made me realize that I needed to change my lifestyle so I could hang around a bit longer (40-50 years)
So, I quit smoking (finally after 20+ years), lost 35lbs (about 10 or so more to go), and now exercise 6 days a week.
Never in my life have I felt better.

After a hellish mid year I ended up having someone message me on pen pal site and now I have the best friend I could ever ask for. It is rare to find someone who can be honest and upfront with you and do so in a caring manner that helps keep any kind of relationship healthy for both parties. They also introduced me to this site and with the guidance they gave I am now on my way to being healthier than I have been in many years. So I am very blessed.

Definitely the best thing that has happened to me here was finding out about MFP and developing the determination I need to lose all of my ~65 lbs and keep it off for GOOD. Along with meeting some great MFP friends on here!

Without a doubt getting into uni. Finding MFP and as a result, losing 20lbs so far is a close second though.
