My goal is to get leaner and more tone. This year we plan on starting a family. I don't care about my weight on the scale, BUT I do want to be stronger and toner for when baby time comes. :happy:0

What a fantastic goal! Good luck & congrats on starting a family!0 -
my goal for the past 3 years has been to run a complete mile, nonstop... however thanks to the annoying injury i incurred during child birth with baby #3, i can no longer run more than 2 minutes without extreme pain that lasts for at least a week- so my goal is only walk, but log in at least 1200 miles!
to find a new way to deal with depression (in the gym instead of the kitchen) with no medicine!
lose at least 70 pounds
motivate my older two children to get out there and exercise with me- the 3-year old is already a workout fanatic who motivates me lol
oh... and to be able to do an actual pull-up- hahahahahaha
(i'm very very far from my goals)0 -
Complete the London 2012 triathlon in a half decent time.0

I would like to ride 15 miles on my bike without stopping
& Get rid of the fat pants
I'm sure I will be adding more but these two are the only ones I for sure want to do.0 -

And to compete with some guys MMA - nothing serious, just light stuff, but tough for us old guys.
Also, I want to play a higher game of tennis - level 4.5 [serious game]
It's been a long, hard road having lost 62 lbs, 25% body fat and wearing 46 size pants.
In 2 words: PEAK FITNESS!0 -
Mine ultimately includes me getting to my goal weight which should take about 6 months then when I feel good enough to wear a swimsuit I'll learn to swim or if not take up adult gymnastics (I've always wanted to do backflip).0
-
To reach my goal weight! And if I keep at it with consistent 1 pound/week loss, it should be a piece of cake! Er...maybe not cake.
I would like to run in my first 5k.
Run 300 miles over the course of 2012.
Sport a bikini with pride. ;D0 -
I never really thought of goals for next year. I have not even thought of a goal at all. Just kinda starting out in this and taking it one step at a time. I just realized that it scares me to death to consider a 1 year goal because I am too afraid that I wont make it. How about this for now. I want to HAVE to buy a new bathing suit this summer because the old one falls off when I wear it.0
-
I want to do a half marathon for the first time
Run some more races 5k, 7k ,10k0 -
The fitness goals that come to mind for 2012 are:
~To become a runner and complete 2 - 3 5ks, an 8k and end the year with a 10k
~To become a yogi (keeping steady yoga practice at 3 - 4 times per week)
~To be a fit and TONED (I wanna see some definition too) size 8 (I've always been a thick girl, so a size 8 is the smallest I ever aspire to be)
~To be able to do 50 push-ups (I can barely do 8 - 10 now)
~To be able to do 10 unassisted pull-ups (I can do none now)
~To develop a lifestyle with great habits that I couldn't break even if I tried0 -
Weight loss wise, I have no idea. I haven't yet thought about or set my goals, so I'll post them at a later date.
Personal life wise, my goals are to be happy and to not mess everything up. We'll see..0 -
I want to be more consistens with my workouts and go to the gym reguarly...next year I WILL go to the gym at least 3 times a week and I will attend classes at my gym. That's my plan0
-

This is a fantasy actually- my family would drop dead of shock
My first goal. aside from losing weight was to run a mile! Good luck0 -
Wow, my goals seem way too humble to follow those above.
I'd like to try yoga.
No goal is too humble. You start with small goals and build up and up and up0 -
My main focus for the next year is to improve my strength!!!0

finish my 1/2 marathon strong - February
Make it to the mat in the relay race I signed up for - May (you only have a certain time to make the mat, if you don't, you get the slowest time plus 5 minutes)

Move up to Olympic distance triathlon
Run faster.0 -
