A Sea Cucumber. The Chinese consider it a delicacy. I ate one while on a business trip to Beijing many years ago. Well, I didn't really eat it ... I put it in my mouth, took one bite and spat it out.! A Sea Cucumber is basically a giant slug.

I have traveled all over the world, tried all kinds of foods, but that was the only thing I ever spat out!

I was just reading about in Scotland a new idea on a menu - Deep fried butter balls! Frozen butter then coated with batter and deep fried - that's got to be disgusting

Before starting this lifestyle change, I would have so tried them. Butter and fried, yummy. Only thing missing is bread!

Pork brains. Thanks, Mom! My mother fixed pork brains, scrambled in eggs. I assumed it was some kind of sausage at the time, and was not told what it was until after the fact.

Balut, which I had when I went to Vietnam years ago. I only managed to eat a very small part of it, and that was just because it would have been disrespectful not to.
