    Hi,

I don't have a pedometer (will go find one though!) But approximately how far / long is 10,000 steps?
I'm trying to walk to work (3.5miles) at least 3 times a week, then there's all my wandering around the office/house.

Just wondered if I'd be anywhere near the challenge?

    thanks!

I think would exceed it on the days you walk to work. I think 30 minutes is about two miles and 4,000 steps for me.

I often just take my step counter off at the end of the day without looking at it. When I picked it up this morning I relaized only 35 more steps would have made 12,000!

brand new to this -- there is no exercise called "steps", so how do you mark it down for your exercise -- just walking and time walked?

For exercise, I just record the time I spend walking or running. I do not try to convert steps to calories. I lamiam does though so she should be able to help.

I make an exercise entry called "walking (steps not minutes)." In the "minutes slot" I put the number of steps. My pedometer records the calories, so in that slot I plug in the calories from my pedo. Hope this helps.
