Okay...cheesy way to start a post, but I'm a Mom of 3 and I've heard this ridiculous joke more than I care to admit.
BUT, I seriously wanted to ask you what kind of UNDERWEAR/panties/under garments/whatever-you-want-to-call-them do you wear to the gym? I run and I have tried it ALL! I'm so sick of trial and error --it's getting expensive.
Now that I've lost the weight, the boy shorts style are not comfortable, too much fabric...but I like it wide around my hips (not granny panty wide) because I still have a small "flap" (Extra skin)....
Anyone else annoyed with this issue???

LOL...j/k. I usually wear bikinis...and yeah, sometimes stuff rides up and whatnot...i really don't have a good answer for you. Commando is probably the most comfortable way oddly enough.0 -

The front is full like a bikini but they have a wide (maybe 2-3 inch) lace (i.e. very lightweight) band and the butt is like a thong. Maybe it's just a fancy thong but it wears really nicely under yoga pants 0

I've been struggling to find some suitable underwear too. I usually wear bikini's but they get bunchy and my butt gets all squished during yoga so I'm thinking about trying thongs. : ) Under Armour makes some that get good reviews, but they are pricey so I haven't bought them yet.0

I am also annoyed with this lol. I would not suggest cotton. They ride all over the place on me. I did find a couple of pair in Target. They are nylon and spandex. There is kinda a wide waistband but the underwear stops right before your bellybutton. I try to suck in my stomach as much as I can. I am told this is a good exercise to train your abs.0 -
bikini panties always stay put. with thongs you run the risk of a UTI. No good!0

I'm not sure of the brand but it's the ones they sell at Costco....I think they're called itsy bitsy or something like that. They hold everything in and help wick moisture (part spandex/party cotton).....very comfy!0

Yes! I have thongs with a wide lace top --and I love them...but I heard thongs were bad. THEN, I went running on the treadmill with them and thought I'd have to have them surgically removed! Seriously! LOL0 -

Athleta's seamless bikini undies rock my world.
They fit fabulously. I am 5f10, 175lbs with generous hips and a little belly. They fit beautifully (I have 1 xl and 1 L, both work but I like the lack of bulge on the xl; best) they are "sport undies", which means that they are sweat wicking. You can't appreciate how awesome that is until you try it and then go back to regular undies. Ugh....I will NEVER work out in non-sweat wicking undies again! Plus, they are dang cute! I've been opting to go commando more recently and have been getting the pants with the liners. For some reason just more comfortable that way.0 -
I live in thongs i dont own anything else. So they are the most comfortable for me. i have tried boy shorts or little booty shorts but they are kinda uncomfortable when im dancing and what not.0
