    DANG it's early..silly baby woke up at 3 and still hasn't gone back to sleep!!!

    Welcome back Tressa and Annette!! Tressa I that whatever sidelined you has been resolved and that everything is going well. Annette, sorry to hear about the tv and the boy in the toy store :laugh:

    Sara-do you have all the CPs? You don't have 3 right...maybe you should get it...I :heart: it. I also love that I have enough dvds now to keep it interesting. I bet she doesn't have anything new out cuz she's been working on ChaLEAN extreme....ugh. When you see Jalene tell them to get back to work and make us a new workout :laugh:

    I hope everyone has a lovely day. I'm hoping to go back to sleep for a little while as soon as the baby crashes.

    I WILL! I'm also requesting a yoga/tai chi DVD from them. :laugh: I have a list. :wink:

    I think I'll get CP3 next since all y'all talk to highly of it. I have FB, PK&J & CP1, but I'm getting tired of rotating them, kwim? I need a new one to add to the mix!

    I hope Adi lets you get back to sleep soon!

    Hi Everybody,
    Checking in this morning w/ 20min TJ and Sculpt - ouch! I can still feel it. Really going to push to add 3 strength training days this week- 1 down 2 more to go, Woo Hoo!

    Babybeans- OMG!! How exciting for you to be able to take a class w/ Janelle - she is going to really push you!! From the dvds she is always just throwing herself into it - I watch her for extra motivation!!
    Girl, I want to hear all about it.

    Drevansmom - I fantasize about becoming a TJ instructor in my "moments" too!! I think it would be awesome to put your energies into helping other people get fit and feel better. I agree with Gottaluvboys, I think we would all make fantastic leaders:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

    Hope everyone is motivated and on track; it's gonna be a great day "babydolls"!!

    hello everyone!

    Checking in with cp3 and booty sculpt and abs today.

    Babybeans, I was really watching Janelle on CP3 today and man, Dragonfly is right, she goes ALL OUT! That's gonna be some class! I've been trying to up my intensity lately. I've noticed since I'm getting in better shape I have to push myself alot harder to get my heart rate up higher...which is good...but tiring!!!:yawn: Have you guys noticed this?

    Dragonfly, I'm trying to get in more strength training and abs too. I really have to order the CD with AbJam and Turbo Sculpt on it again. I gave my original to a friend about a year ago :grumble:

    drevans_mom, hope you got some more rest! :flowerforyou: Oh, and thanks for the link...that's a cool site!

    Megan - JessMomof3 on here is a beachbody coach if you need to order anything. I do watch Janelle a lot in the videos. My husband laughs when he works out with me b/c he tires to immitate her & he says he feels like the Karate Kid. :laugh: I initially have a hard time getting my HR up in the 20 min. & the CP1, but I ultimately get it up after the first 10-15 min. & then it is usually "too" high. PK&J...that thing kicks my butt start to finish. ALWAYS tired after that one!

    Dragonfly - I'm excited about it, too! I think I'm going to sign up for the trial membership today & try to get out of the house Thur. night & go take the class. I hope I can make this work! I want to go SO bad! Good job with the workout! TS kicks my butt! I aim to do that 3-4 times a week & I've noticed such a change in my body since I've been doing it the past 2 months. Not much of a weight change, but things are shaping up nicely. :bigsmile:

    First, glad to know I'm not the only one watching Janelle...that girl has a spring in her step and she goes all out. I love when they come in close on her. I guess I'm like Doug and imitate her, too:blushing:

    Sara...cannot wait to hear about the class. I wish Eric's hours were not so crazy and long:grumble:

    Just finished CP...MUST do TS and perhaps some pilates as well tonight.

    Sara-yoga/tai chi from Turbo Jam? Or something else? I would love to see your list! I would be interested in seeing Chalene's PiYo workouts. Her Hip Hop Hustle would be fun too. As for HRs I can usually get mine up in the warm up and then keep it in the zone until the turbo and then I push it, but I've noticed this only applies to CP2 and CP3. Pk&J and CP1 are another story and of course FB is out of control.

    Megan-I keep thinking that I should be able to work harder and have my HR stay in the zone but it hasn't played out like that yet. I still have a lot of belly fat, but I know I've got muscle under it :smile: Great job on your workout today!


    Dragonfly I think that since we've all been the "fat" girls we would be motivational in getting others to know that they can do it. I've been telling everyone that I'm doing Turbo Jam and they kinda give me that "you mean the infomercial?" look and I'm like Hey it works! I actually had someone here on MFP email me the other day and ask if ALL my results have come from just Turbo Jam...I very proudly responded YES!!!

    I got back to sleep about 6 this mornin and slept until 9:30. So my schedule is all off today but I'm just gonna get my workout in after Dre goes to school and hopefully Adi will go down for a LONG nap. I'll check in after I get my workout in.

    Good job on the workout...3T is a great kick butt toning workout! I think I'm gonna do that tomorrow.

    I haven't done CP1 in a while, but in CP3 and KP&J and Booty Sculpt, Janelle is to Chalene's left. Here's a link a found to Chalene's blog that has a pic of both of them so you can recognize her.

    Checkin in with CP2. I wanted to do Lower body today but DD isn't allowing it. So I'm quickly eating some lunch and then I gotta jump in the shower. We had a major hail storm a couple hours ago and now it's beautiful so I can't wait to go walk!

    Essentially they are the same thing. Turbo Kick is the workout that Turbo Jam is based on. I don't think there is any real big difference but I may be wrong.

    I think Chalene owns the rights to the Turbo Kick name while BeachBody owns TurboJam so for Chalene to get the $ & the recognition for her workouts, she puts the classes under TK....does that make sense?

    Add TS and 20 min workout to my previous CP...pretty good day! I need to make a bigger effort to get in the TS a few times a week. I was about a month ago...don't know what happened:huh:

    In CP1, she's also on Chalene's left. In the 20 min., she's on the back right platform. She's usually the one wearing a sports bra showing off her rock hard abs. :laugh:

    I think I'm going to try to get to the class tonight. I thought it was on Thursdays, but I just checked & it is tonight! For my hubby to get the rate they are offering, we have to make our minds up by next week so I need to get there & Sat. is out of the question. Wish me luck! It makes me nervous to think about it! EEK! I've never worked out in front of anybody but my husband before so this should be interesting...

    I'm so excited for you!! As soon as you get home tonight you MUST get on here and tell us all about it! :laugh: I feel like I should tell you not be be nervous...except that I know I would be too! :laugh: I'm sure once you get there it'll be tons of fun though and you'll forget about being nervous. Just don't forget your "W" and to look behind you on your back kicks. :wink:

    What's on everyone's workout agenda for today? I'm gonig to try to get in AJ & TS before I go tonight. It is an hour long class so I think I should probably hold off on aerobics b/c Lord only knows what I'm getting into. Yikes!

    I'm doing PK&J today too, and either 3T or booty sculpt hopefully. I was going through my TJ stuff this morning and I found my card that you put on your before and after measurements. I did the before about a year ago when I first got TJ and forgot about it. So for the heck of it I took my measurements again. I couldn't believe it! Of course I knew I lost the 15 lbs...but I lost almost 24 inches over my body!!! And it's ALL from Turbo Jam...I'm more motivated than ever right now! :smile:

    Sara AHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm so excited for you. I just wanna run in circles sceaming and jumping for joy. I'm also totally jealous!!!! I would love to go to a class taught by Mindy. I don't know why but I love that girl! I know you will do great. Look at it this way, you aren't a first timer and there may be first timers there. You know a lot of the moves and possibly all of them, it will just be the combos that will take a second to get the hang of. I'm so happy for you that you get this opportunity. What's the 365 project?

    Megan-24 inches!! Wow that is wonderful. I don't measure again until the 15th, I'm hoping for some good numbers.

    Tressa-way to get your workout in during a busy day. I don't know about you but I feel like those are the best workouts because you managed to make time for yourself and it helps relieve stress.

    Kelly-have I not been paying attention to your ticker??? I swear it went from 8 lbs to 16 lbs. You are doing an amazing job!

    I have a job interview today. After the initial phone call yesterday I'm actually kinda excited about it cuz it could possibly be a great opportunity. The lady knows that I don't want to be in the office 40 hrs a week, but I'd be willing to work from home as much as I need to and I will put in face time at the office a couple hrs everyday if needed. I'm hoping that she will allow me to bring my DD along when I do need to go into the office, cuz I don't want to have to put her in daycare for just a couple hours a day. It's a commission only job (which is why I don't want to spend time in the office) and the extra income would be really great for my family. I will update all of you this afternoon when I get back. Wish me luck!

    As far as my ticker...this past weekend I hit the halfway point of my goal (woohoo!). I think I had a 3 pound loss last week:huh: No WI this week due to TOM:grumble: I'm getting excited to reach 20 pounds gone!

    Project 365 is basically where you take a picture a day for a year and then group those photos (and perhaps some journaling) into an album/book/etc. Of course there are days when you forget and have to play catch up:wink: I scrapbook and at this point I mainly document my kiddos lives. I thought it was a nice opportunity to document some of DH and I as well (not to mention the day to day aspects of our lives). I believe Sara is putting her photos into a book by Shutterfly, Winflash, etc at the end and I'm putting mine into a super simple scrapbook. We have been sharing our photos on our respective blogs as well.
