CG Bold Week, which is really just a recovery week with a limited camp schedule. However, today didn't feel like much of a recovery! All upper body with weights. Chest presses, back rows, bicep curls, and triceps kickbacks. Doing chest presses with 15 lb dumbbells might not seem like much of a workout, try doing 60 of them...twice...with a killer intermission of pushups! I'm not sure which hurt more, my muscles or my old arthritic hands! Thankfully, the rest of the week really is going to be lighter recovery workouts.2

Crazy weekend here, there was plenty of activity, but no workouts persay. Still can't go to the gym, stupid cold has been hanging around for a week now! I don't feel that bad, but still a snot monster, so avoiding the gym still. Getting annoyed at this darn thing not just going away (it's definitely going around though).0

Great job everyone! You all continue to kill it!
I have done nothing but try and recover from this nasty cold / flu. I better get off my *kitten* soon, or I will no longer be a cool kid.0 -
Morning kids, TRX and Boot camp done. Trainer mentioned that if I think last week session was hard, wait til I see tomorrow's. I smirked, "Bring it". Gam3rguy, peeped out the pics and you know that tire excites my soul. How much weight on the bar? Allen how are you and your daughter doing? I am so very sorry and hope the best for you and yours. Have a great day kids.2

3m easy run this morning.
Just got back from a business lunch and, without being all angsty about it, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich (no mayo) and a garden salad (instead of fries). It was what I wanted AND what my calorie and nutrition goals required. Win win.4 -

Was feeling blah on my cardio day, but went to the gym and did hills on the bike for a half hour. I had a super cool circuit planned, but just wasn't feeling it. At least I got something done though!3

Just recently joined the "over the hill" group and looking for fitness and dieting friends. About a month before the big day, I decided to take my health a little more serious rather than for granted. Looking forward to meeting some new people and your insight to better health.3

Rebooting after a looooong break. My goal is to get into the habit of daily exercise and really (no I mean it!) cut the crap out of my diet. Today I did the P90 Fat Burning Express workout and I'm about to shower and go for a 1/2 walk as I do errands. Well done to everyone who has worked out today!2

Swimming. 900 yds, alternating fast and slow laps, with the occasional breaststroke lap thrown in for variety.1

Dragging a bit today. Did a step test on the bike Wed night to measure fitness improvements over the last 8 weeks. It wasn't a long test, 15 minute easy spin warm up, then 2 minute blocks, starting at 120 watts and increasing power by 20 watts each block until failure. Failed at 300 watts. I think I'm still recovering since I"ve struggled through both a swim and a run since then. I have an easy recovery swim today, so that will help.
Started adding back a bit more running since I'm registered for a half marathon in 6 weeks. The trip to Las Vegas will be fun, but I'm really not expecting much from the race.
Stay cool.0 -

I used to do this sort of building power test on the rowing machine when I was training for races. There’s no faster way to incapacitate me for multiple days. It’s a killer. Rest up!0 -
It's still recovery week here so yesterday was a nice easy 5- mile run and a round of disc golf. I'm looking forward to today's mobility workout. Just an hour of stretching and dynamic movement to keep everything moving properly.2

3-mile easy run on the MUP. They recently extended our section, and it was stupidly exciting to run on it for the first time. And a little creepy — it goes through a carnival ride storage area. I kept looking for homicidal clowns.2
