    Carrying heavy shopping, or lifting a gallon of milk is fine, it's only dumbbells and barbells that should be avoided.

    Unless pink and of appropriate weight of course.

    I accidentally lifted once. It took my muscles years to atrophy down to a decent size again. It was traumatizing. My family called me Thor and asked me to open tight jars for them. The emotional angst they put me through for one little mistake...
