didn't do to bad. lost .6. i'll take it since i drank 3 glasses of water before bed. vains better be pumped up for some blood. hope everyone has a nice day. suppose to be nice again today. not as warm only in mid 70s. going with son to look at a trailer for rent, getting DH's air compresser back from sons friend, doctors appt, just a bunch of errands today.

Hey ladies!!!
Not a good day, up almost a pound from last week and a pound and a half from our start. need to kick it in gear!!!! Have to go out for lunch today for a meeting but will get a salad as we're going to this German restaurant where everything else is super bad!!! I need to start being accountable for working out too!!!

. i am in shorts now. little chilly, but suppose to be in mid/high 70s today. yesterday DH told me i had musculer (sp) legs. he said i have always had nice legs, but now the muscle really show themselfs. good i guess, he said they look real tone, and that some guys would like the muscle my legs show. don't how to take that last comment. so i guess my legs will look good in shorts this summer, just i can't tan. i am fair skin and burn easy. may have find some tanning lotions. :laugh:

I go through spells. Currently hubby is 'running hot', being oh-so-nice and caring. He doesn't realize nothing has changed -- I still want him gone. However, I'm too emotionally (energy) drained to confront him again right now.... so I'm just biding my time and gathering back up my strength. I expect within the next week, I will let him know that although I appreciate the changes he is trying to make now and how nice he's been, nothing has changed for me, I still need him gone. It's too late. I hate it for him, but I can't, I'm just too far gone.
I think the sunshine and the 70* weather has been the biggest help. I've started going to a tanning bed too ($10 unlimited for a month!!:noway: ) to get short concentrated bursts of light (4-5 min) to help keep my spirits up (and ward off Seasonal Affective Disorder). My daily exercise keeps my happy endorphins up. Without daily exercise I'd be a sad basketcase. And eating right and seeing the scales cooperate is incentive to keep on tracking eating right. I'm surviving. (I hope to be thriving by mid-summer.)
I'll be weighing in later, after my 2p-3p workout.

:sad: I am so freakin confused. HOW can I be down to 175 one week then at 178.4 the next when it hasn't been a total gong show for either nutrition or exercise?! But it will offer some extra motivation now because I need to keep right on point without lapses for a couple of weeks to see whether my body just needs a real jolt back into things or whether something else may be going on (like my thyroid meds need to be adjusted or something). Not a good start to my day, regardless.

As I suspected, I am back to 198. I knew the loss would not stick. They put me on a fluid IV yesterday and pumped it all back into me. Oh well. Its not a gain so I am happy.

Hi ladies. I haven't weighed in yet this morning. I am home sick still today. I will weigh in whenever I get the energy to get to the scale.
AmyLou-sorry to hear the diagnosis of your Gramps, but glad things are looking fairly positive.
Cathy-shorts, AGH! I don't wear shorts.Hopefully I can wear them this summer, though. I am happy that the time is nearing when those who do wear shorts can wear them.
