didn't do to bad. lost .6. i'll take it since i drank 3 glasses of water before bed. vains better be pumped up for some blood. hope everyone has a nice day. suppose to be nice again today. not as warm only in mid 70s. going with son to look at a trailer for rent, getting DH's air compresser back from sons friend, doctors appt, just a bunch of errands today.

I am just munching on an apple and some cheese nips! YUM!!! **drool** I can totally tell I have an increased appetite these days! I changed my goals to gain 1 pound a week for this trimester. CRAZY! :noway: BUT...(can I be honest)...I haven't been keeping track of my calories AT ALL.:blushing: But, I don't overeat...I know I don't. I eat a little when I'm hungry, healthy choices of course, and give in to cravings when I have them (usually a small bowl of ice cream in the evenings). And I think I am doing okay. If it seems like I am gaining a ton at a time, then I will start keeping track again. Still haven't been to the gym, but I am just so darn tired by the time I am finished work, that I go home, cook dinner, then usually crash on the couch. So...we'll see how that goes. I so SO want nice weather so I can at least get myself on a walk with the dogs. ANYways...I gotta get back to some work now, but we will chat again soon! I'm feeling motivated and good.
Only 19lbs to my goal weight. That seems amazingly low.
I don't think it's sunk in just how much weight I've lost.
Of course, I say all this and am going out to Buffalo Wild Wings with a friend for dinner tonight, haha. Nothing healthy on my dinner menu!! Good thing I ran this afternoon.
Em, tanning is soooo unhealthy, I know but I really needed this boost... a tan and a mental lift. And for $10 a month??? I mean, it was a must for me right now. I haven't tanned since 2002 and probably won't again for another half decade, lol.

Kristin, I really don't want this to come across wrong..... but my doctors didn't advise me of JACK about weight gain during my pregnancy and I ended up gaining 60lbs. :noway: (on top of already being overweight at 185lbs!!!!! :noway: :noway: ). I don't want to even suggest you need to LOSE weight during pregnancy, and I don't know how much weight gain is appropriate and I SO do NOT want to be that woman telling you to watch your weight while pregnant!!! But that said, I also don't want you gaining 60lbs like I did cause it's a biznitch to work off! (I hope this comes across in the friendly, non-judgemental way I'm hearing it in my head.) :flowerforyou: (Oh gosh, I feel horrible now and thought about erasing this whole paragraph but I'm gonna leave it and hope it's taken in the light I mean it. :ohwell: )

I've done TONS on reading as I have been very concerned about gaining too much, and with my weight/height/all that, I should gain between 25-35 pounds. Yup, hit my next goal , which was for March 17th. Just 4lbs to go on this challenge! Of course, I then need to not blow it all over my birthday celebrations- no point hitting my goal not to be at it by the end, hmm?

I put on 55 pound with each pregnancy. The first one, I started out 132 so it was not as bad. The second one I was 162 so that one pushed me over the 200 mark. When we have our 3rd and last I am going to do my best to be that woman who puts on the 25 to 35! Best laid plans!
Kristen, you seem like you are going to do fantastic! Plus when you get your energy back which should be just around that corner, you will be getting in some exercise too! By the way, never got to tell you that the belly pic is great! Dont you love it! Are you feeling any little flutters yet? I loved when my kids had the hicups! And the summersaults are a fun feeling too!0 -

well, son is renting that trailer. yea!!!!! :bigsmile: :drinker: he will try to move out first week of april. it's a 2 bedroom 1 bath trailer on a little land by a lake for $375 a month. not bad. he's excited to be able to leave again. it's about a 1/2 hour drive from us. his friends have already told him it's too far for them to drive. i told son at lunch then they aren't your friends. but, when summer comes around and he's at the lake with the babes we'll see. anyway he will turn in his app and than they do a credit check, which he has good credit. and a pass history of rent paying, shouldn't be a problem.
speaking a baby gain. i gained 21 pounds with both. weighed 196 with both. that is my next goal is to get to that pre-pregancy weight. gee, sure took along time to lose that baby weight. let's see shanell is 30 and son just turned 28. oh, boy. . after he moves out i can start my packing and get myself ready to move the middle of nov.
well, it's BL night, so need to go my tuesday nigh snack.

First off, thank you for your kind words about my grandfather, I really appreciate it!
Second, congrats to those who lost today and to those who didn't, we can do it!!!! hang in there!!!
just got done with C25K for the night. first work out in a few days so i'm super sore now, but it's a good sore. hopefully it will help me get back on track. I needed the run, feeling kind of blah :frown: but I think it helped.
not a lot of homework tonight so will probably veg a little and then maybe clean the apt. I tend to clean when I'm stressed.

AmyLou, it's hard when family is having a tough time. Cleaning is a better manifestation of stress than eating!!!
Tamm, must be hard to have little upset patients. And you don't need to talk yourself into being a parent - it's so pervasive in our society to subtly pressure women into parenthood and if everyone just followed their instinct the world would be so much better off (for so many reasons!). My best friend won't be a mother in this lifetime and she knows that's exactly what suits her. She's the BEST aunt to my kiddos and that's the end of it You'll know
So, I'm spectacularly happy with how today has gone, and the only thing that could have made it better would have been a work out. But I'm within calories with my planned foods and I got a good bit of walking in anyhow. Tomorrow Ava has her last soccer practice and we normally see our good friends while we're there but I am VERY tempted to go to my Wednesday night cardio class. I haven't been in 2 months. Mind you, this is her last practice until the next session and the next one is on Thursdays... maybe if I can get a workout in during the day I will, and if I haven't then I'll go in the evening.
I got my hair cut today - LOVE it. It's a version of the same one I've had but a little edgier and a little shorter. I'm very pleased with it. I'll try to get a decent pic!

Hello ladies. Didn't like what I saw on the scale this morning going to post it later. Right now I'm in so much pain from my mouth. I wish I could just get all my teeth yanked then no tooth pain. It is 2:47 AM and I'm on here because I can't sleep. I need to try and take more pain pills and try to get some sleep. I will be calling the dentist in the morning about getting something done, anything!!!!

Well, I weighed myself again this morning and I'm back to the beginning of this challenge. I gained 1.5 lbs this week. Oh well, at least I know that I'm doing better. I feel bad though because I didn't work out this morning because of being up all night. Even my boss yelled at me for my crabby mood.:laugh: She likes me better when I work out in the mornings. Maybe I can get something in later, not sure.
Mom, tell Kenny congrats. I'm sure he'll like this place better than the other trailer he had. We'll have to check it out when he starts moving in.

I made it to the gym again today so that has been 3 days in a row. I still havent lost any. It is TOM right now which is actually about a week early. So wondering about that right now. Other than that everything seems to be going good.

Omgosh, I forgot how much I loved when she had hiccups and did little flutter kicks. Those were the coolest feelings in the world, to know my little Luv Bug was swimming around in my tummy, cozy and warm and growing!0 -

I have been so tired lately. Not particularly during the day, but I am struggling to stay awake by 9:30 or 10 and I'm sleeping until 7 or 8am. I may just still be working off massive sleep debt from basically mid-December until 2 weeks ago but I'm still wondering about my thyroid. I'm about to upload a new pic that shows my hair. It's a little shadow-y but it's what I got! TTYL!!0 -
