ahhh yes! i made this discovery about 2 weeks ago...

i was eating them on reduced fat triscuits along with some apples on the side. it was so good.

i made a chicken salad sandwich and used it as the 'spread'. OMG DELISH!

put it in a pita and made a turkey sand, yummmm.

that's about all i got - oh someone said to use it on a wrap too.

    35 cals is AMAZING! :noway:

awesome guys.. THANKS for the ideas..
I can't wait to try some of them and come up with all different kinds of things!!!

That is, if I don't just end up eating them all plain!

ROCK ON! I think this might be my #1 discovery since making this lifestyle change!!!!

Woo Hoo! (can you tell I'm excited)?
  • I get the flavoredd "light" versions and dip celery and carrots. I also use them on the 100 calorie "altenative bagel" and I put 2 wedges in my "caulifower mashers" - makes them creamy and delicious.

First of all, I buy it at Sam's club in the 3 pack. Much cheaper!

I love it as a spread on sandwiches/ tortilla roll ups. It's also great w/ whole grain crackers (it's one of my 10 yo dd's favorite snack).

And I 2nd the recommendation to cook it with eggbeaters, it does melt wonderfully!

    yes yes yes!

I use LC all the time to make low calorie cheese sauces for (tofu) pasta and in substitution for cheese. The cauliflower mashers are definitely amazing! I make that at least 2x a month....man, come to think of it, what DON'T I make with LC? I use it on my homemade pizzas, egg beater scrambles, quesadillas, spinach artichoke dips and even bake with it! It's a love affair for all!

I tried the laughing cow light garlic and herb today, and LOVED it!
I've been wondering WHAT I could put in a sandwich, other than chicken or other meat, that WOULDN'T have much protein, since I eat meat for supper too. Last weekend I read a few threads about the laughing cow cheese, so I bought some over the weekend. It was pretty good, and even filled me up for several hours, which I didn't expect, since it was just about the thinnest sandwich I'd ever eaten!
Anyway though, it's certainly worth a try if you've never had it!

LC fan here too! It has revolutionized my sandwiches! I use it on flatout wraps as a spread. I mix it in w/ scrambled eggs. For a GREAT snack, I thinly slice a green apple, break 7 triscuits in 1/2, place an apple slice on the triscuit & then spread a tiny smear of the chz on the apple and savor it! I will def be making the chicken recipe posted above.

    I use LC a LOT!!

sandwiches - in place of mayo and cheese
This is especially good with turkey and a little avocado. The combo of the LC cheese and the
avocado is to die for! Also good with ham and chicken and tuna - maybe will try an egg
salad sammie mixed with LC cheese instead of mayo!
homemade hamburgers - I used this on my hamburger a couple of weeks ago and YUMMO!
    on crackers
    spread in celery sticks
I've even dipped carrots in it!

I won't eat a sandwich without my laughing cow now!
Hi, my name is Kim and I am addicted to Laughing Cow Cheese!

I LOVE the laughing cow light cheese circles. The ones that come wrapped in the red wax covering. They have such a GREAT taste and it's so much fun pulling off the wax.

I  LC too! I had a fried egg sandwich for breakfast yesterday...1 egg over medium, 1 slice of whole grain toast and a laughing cow wedge...drool!! It was too yummy!
I love the babybel lights as well (the circle cheese, as my son calls them...as he steals my stash from the fridge :grumble:) I throw one in my gymbag everyday to have for a post workout snack.
I think from the sound of things, we all need to buy some serious stock in LC!

I'm glad you mentioned Sams. I was so pumped about getting some of the wedges the other day and went to WDixie... of course, there were none to be found! :grumble:
Where else can you find them? Wally World?

After reading this thread, I went to wal mart and picked me up some!

It's wonderful! I put it on some wheat thin crackers and even my bf enjoyed it!
  • so like most people on this thread.....I had never tried the LC before, until last night! After reading everyone's posts I went to the store and bought the french onion AND the swiss and went home and put them on reduced fat triscuits........NUM YUMMY!!!!

I even made one for my "I-never-eat-anything-reduced-or-fat-free-because-i-think-it-tastes-like-poo" fiance and he LOVED IT!

Thanks so much everyone I now have a new obsession!!!!!!
