    Hi everyone..

    i got all my crunches in tues, wed and today.. Walked more than a mile each day... Did my legs and arms.. Got it all in.. Now, i can't weigh myself.. Husband took my scale away from me till next Friday. he thinks I focus on it too much and get frustrated.. I do but thats another story... I did measure my waist and I've lost a half inch..

    Good job on all your exercises!! I'm glad your husband took your scale away. You should only be weighing yourself once a week. Remember being women we have such a water flux that the scale always lies to us. :wink:

    good morning 100 situps 100pushups 40 leglifts and curl with 10 lbs ball not touching ground :glasses: and only 20 leglifts on bench with 10lbs ball :mad: i dont know about everybody here but i take off weekends to drink and eat :drinker:

    I take Sunday off from exercise but I still eat healthy.. If we go out to dinner I eat in moderation.. No real cheat days for me.. I am in this for the long haul.....
  • I normally workout 5 days, but my rest days are Thursday and Sunday. I like to break up my week a bit. The body needs to rest some time! :smile:

    missed yesterday-- but got 'em tonight-- plus 3 mile run three times this week, a two mile run -- and my pushups three times this week.

    I took yesterday off from the exercising.. I plan on doing 200 today... I got in all my other stuff... This thread seems to keep me motivated....

    hello and goodmorning 100 situps , 100 pushups , 20 hanging knee (high as the bar ) lifts , 20 leglifts with 10 lbs ball , 20 floor knee lifts with 10lb ball :glasses:

    Check-in day:

    3/19 100 crunches, 2 mile walk/jog, 20 min. Elliptical, (yes I was wiped out at the end of the day)
    3/20 30 min, walk I had to rest this day because of the day before
    3/21 100 crunches, 30 min. elliptical
    3/22 100 crunches, 45 min. elliptical

    With 5 kids and a husband who works a lot finding hard time to fit all the challenges in, but I'm trying.

    got 'em in last night-- I may have missed a day-- I think Friday night-- but, I'm cool with that--

    Also took a 3 mile run and did some pushups.

    I'm going to do 155 sit ups a day until the 11th to make up for the days I started late.

    Hi Everybody!!

    I wasn't able to do anything this weekend. My lower back was bothering me something terrible. So I rested, iced and applied heat all weekend. It feels better this morning. Will go to the gym tonight and do a light workout to see how it feels. Hopefully fine!!!:grumble: :sad:

    I got in all my sit ups..100 a day to be exact.. Got in my arms and legs as well as I walked a mile each day.... Oh but I did take Sat off except for my crunches...

    I didn't do my situps, but I was able to walk a little over a mile and I did 3 different arm exercises. My back felt a little better this morning. Back or not I'm not ready to give up!!:flowerforyou:

    I haven't been really reporting with the minichallenges but I do have a question about what to do with a pulled ab. muscle. I've been ok to still do my crunches but I've been trying to do plank-style pushups...I was up to 10 (pathetic, I know) - but one of my ab. muscles on the left side just hurts and now I can only do 5. Should I just rest it or try to still do as many as I can before it hurts too much?

    I'm no doctor:huh: but I have had a pulled ab muscle before and boy does it hurt:sad: . I was told to rest for a few days to allow it to heal and then go back to doing my crunches. It would be better to wait a few days now and then resume them, than to keep on doing them now and have to stop for a few weeks at a later time. Hope you feel better soon.:flowerforyou:

    I can understand what you are going through. My lower back was really hurting last Thursday. So I took Fri, Sat, and Sun off and rest, ice and heat the area. Then on Monday did a light workout and last night a little bit more intenstivity. And this morning I'm feeling much better. Still a little twing so I think one more day and I might be able to go back to normal. :wink: I did the rest now to prevent from really hurting myself and having to take several weeks off.

    So my suggestion is to do a light workout and avoid working the ab muscles until they are better. It's better to miss a few days instead of several weeks. Hope you get better soon!! :flowerforyou:

    good morning didnt think i was going to work out this morning because
    i took my boys ( 16 and 17 ) to join my gym last night because they now want to be (buff ) like me.
    so i took them showed them one of my routines of couse after yesterday morning workout of

    100 situps (75 normal)(25 incline) , 100 pushups (25 normal)(25 wide)(25 waist)(25 incline) ,20 sec leglifts with 10lb ball 4 sets , (set of 4 ) 10 hanging knee lifts with 10lb ball and worked arms and legs

    they are crying they are sore abs hurt and they did less then half reps and no weighted ball so i had to show them how its done
    im going to try and make it in the morning if i can move

    well i made it not too much but
    100 situps ,100 push ups worked arms and legs and 10 hanging leglifts

    Hi All!!

    Still not doing my situps, but I think I will be starting them again soon. Back is feeling good again. But..... now I think I pulled my right shin. Man this sucks. :grumble: But I was able to get in a little over a mile on the treadmill last night and I did my 4 different arm exercises. :wink: But the best thing is I stepped on the scale this morning and I lost 3lbs. :happy: So I've lost a total of 10lbs in a month. YEA!!!
