My quote on my fitness pal is "Unless you faint, puke or die keep walking." That was of course said by tough trainer Jillian Michaels who has to be my biggest fitness inspiration.
I also heard a quote the other day on the biggest loser which I thought was perfect. "Your toughest competition is the person you look at when you look in the mirror." That was said by Dolvett. I thought it was great!
What are some of your favorite motivation quotes?

" Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well perserved body, but rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy ****!!...... what a ride!" I read that and thought, how true.. to experience all that life has to offer.. so I dont want to squander it with unhealthy activitiy, I want to use my body to its fullest potential and go on trips and experience life.. climb mountains, and swim in oceans.....so i can skid in at the end and say.. HOLYYYYYY ****!! WHAT A RIDE!!.. lets go again0

It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. You will need to make healthy decisions. It requires sacrifice. You will need to push your body to its max. There will be temptation. But ,I promise you, when you reach your goal its worth it!0

LaurenAOK: Great poster!
I read this recent Japanese proverb, and it hits home for me - for anyone who struggles with weight loss, or anything in life, for that matter:
Fall seven times and stand up eight.
In other words, keep moving. Setbacks may come your way, obstacles may arise. You're strong, you will keep going and succeed.
Another (slightly sillier but cute) quote from Dory in Finding Nemo: Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.....0 -

General Patton has always been my go to for motivation.

My favourite at the moment is my profile picture!
"You don't get it by staring, you don't get it by wishing, you don't get it by drooling, you don't get it by hoping, you don't get it easy. You get it by getting off your butt, working for it, every second of every day for the rest of your life"0 -

My favorite since joining MFP almost 4 years ago is:
Don't give up what you want for what you want RIGHT NOW.
I always thought about this on days when I felt like I wanted to skip a workout or eat something that would totally blow all the hard work I'd been doing...I would always conclude that I didn't want that big, football-sized burrito as bad as I thought I did:blushing:
