Kristin, you'll notice you gain more weight for a while, and more will show up all of a sudden sometimes then other times you won't see much.

Good morning everyone!
I am not weighing in. For one I am trying to get this surgery behind me , which I finally have a date. I cant wait for friday. Everyone says I will feel so much better! I am counting on it. Then you all had better watch out. I am going to be like Chipper and the pounds are just gonna melt off me! (one can dream, cant they?!). Thats not to say that she doesnt work her butt off to lose that weight!:flowerforyou: And on to the other reason, I am at the beach and there is no scale. There has also been some ice cream consumption. I am not usually fooled by ice cream but for some reason I am craving it and it is not bothering the ol' gall bladder.
Well, congrats to all of you losers!
To those who are maintaining, it's a good thing. That is what is going on with this body and that is better than a gain any day!

I think I will have ended up only with a net 2 lb lost BUT I AM PROUD! :-) I ended up gaining quite a bit on the cruise b/c I had to stop my Blood pressure meds since you can't drink OR be in the sun with them.... hmmm... and I did both :laugh:
Last time I checked, yest a.m., I was 151. I had gotten up to GASP :explode: 157*water weight and sitting in a car 16 hours. Probably wasn't smart to jump on the scale as soon as I got in the house at 1 a.m. :mad:
I have been doing the Body for life challenge, eating healthier, layiyng off the salt, and working out so thankfully I am down 7 lbs since I've been back ! :-D
OH AND I DID GOOD ON MY TEST! It sucks that I'm M.I.A so often but last week was So stressful and the best could do was try to study, maintain my workouts, pray, and not eat too much junk. But I'm back full force until my next test!

Today my love is that I rode my bike to the gym, ran on the treadmill, put on my weight lifting gloves and lifted weights like a Whoa-MAN! LOL! I'm getting strong. And just yesterday, my bf said MAN you have really been hitting the weights huh? your arms are getting ripped. lol. I'm not one of those girls who are scared of muscles! I love discovering new lines... muscles lines that is. :blushing:0 -
Oops, my bad on the name. I must have been really tired last night. I thought is sounded funny last night when I wrote, but said what the heck. At least I got the week right. Sorry for the confusion.
It's been so crazy. I'm still fighting this cold or whatever I have. Hopefully I can get rid of it before I go to the dentist on Thurs. Have to work this weekend for our spring sale, so no days off for me till next weekend, so trying to get things done around the house when I can.
Well, I did like Robin and ate something high in sodium last night for dinner which resulted in a weight gain and lost a lb this morning after my exercise, so I did weigh in yesterday morning and I'll use that weight for this week.
Mom, I guess I'm gonna lose our little bet, you only have 3 lbs to go before you hit the big 199!!!!!!!

Last night, I did SO WELL until a friend kept me up talking (on instant messenger) until after 1am. I get hungry late at night and discovered I {i]can[/i] sleep off the hungries usually, but that late at night... I caved. Boo!! I ate a quarter box of cheesie crackers, lol. Okay, not that much but a whole lotta calories all the same.
Today's the day I find out if I lose my job. I'll let y'all know what I hear. I'm going to make my morning bagel now.0 -

Good morning gals! Happy hump day! I'm very excited to report that I'm getting my stroller/travel system today! It will be the first real "baby" thing I get! My mom is buying it for me since the one I want is currently on sale! Here's a picture of it:
(It's hard to tell, but it's like a lime green color on dark gray...we aren't finding out if it's a boy or girl, so everything has to be neutral!)

So yesterday was a good day with the exception that I mightttt have gone over in my calories.. I'm not really sure.. I was under by like... 500 calories because I wasn't feeling well and wasn't very hungry..
Buuuuuuttttttt My birthday party is this weekend so I went to m y Mom's to make a practice cake.. It was only a single 9" square cake.. and I made butter cream icing.. but the practice was mainly to try and hone in on my fondant skills again.. Im really rusty. Anyways I totally ate like two spoonfuls of butter cream. Im not sure if I am over or not though.. I don't think so..but.. still.....
On other news, I just found out that my boyfriends is plotting to get me a diamond ring for my birthday!!!! ^_^ yay!

Everyone else, HI! Just posting quickly.
I've been eating 200 cals more a day for a few days now (having changed my goal to a lb a week) and I'm seeing progress on the scale. I'm wondering whether that may have been part of what's been going on? Perhaps a combo of my body not letting the weight go because of low cals, and me feeling hungrier because of low cals and making not the greatest choices some times. Anyway, I did feel a lot more satisfied yesterday and the last couple of days with the higher cals. Here's hoping that's the trick!!
Off to hear the graduating performance of a jazz vocalist at the university with my kiddos today!

Brittany, if you look up Robin's homemade buttercream in the database, it's got the counts for 1/4 cup. If you look at my profile, there are some pics of a few of my cakes... I don't have the counts for fondant though... I never eat the stuff, unless I'm using marshmallow fondant or rolled buttercream.
Kristin, love those 3 in 1 systems! And thanks for the baby bump picture last week, after you reposted it, I remembered seeing it before!
Rhiannon, when I came back from my January through March hiatus, I actually bumped up my calories by 100 too. I thought about 200, but that seemed scary, so I just did the small jump. I don't worry too much if I go over, since I didn't do the 200 jump. Let me know if it keeps working for you, maybe I'll bump another 100 again0 -
