    Seven weird things......hmmmmm!

    1. I have always loved spinach, even as a little girl.

    2. My first cassette tape was Cyndi Lauper: She's So Unusual.

    3. I love "guy" movies.....war, sci fi, etc. (Aliens and Kelly's Heroes are two favs)

    4. I accidentally drank holy water from The Vatican after visiting back in 1998.

    5. I love Looney Toons cartoons. They just make me laugh!

    6. I love "nerd" shows like History Detectives on PBS.

    7. I have sung "Stand By Me" to my son since he was a newborn and now he sings along with me and knows it by heart. (He will be 3 in November)

    12. When I was 12 I got hit on and approached a lot by 18-25yr olds

    13. My 3rd grade teacher was the one who told me about bras and that I should get one......come to find out in the 3rd grade I was in a C34 o_0

    14. My first love seemed sweet, but was really an *kitten*....he never wanted to date exclusively (started dating at 14) and then when he got deployed across seas because he was in the army he wanted to start dating in the open........then when he got back he didnt want to date exclusively again......so i told him to go **** himself because he wasnt going to get any of this :noway: and i'm usually a quiet stand offish person :laugh:

    i was bored and thought i'd go over the 7 limit lmao

    currently Im getting "so wheres the ring?" from family. theyre being pretty pushy.
    I can see why. Hes a computer programmer with good money, a genius head on his shoulders, totally logical and practical, and spoils me...
    ...but they really need to quit it

    I KNOW THE FEELING!!! We went to the beach for the whole week last week and his friends, my friends, his family, my family, were all calling me all week saying has he done it yet has he done it yet, cause they all just KNEW he was gonna ask me while we were there....I know that we will eventually get married but they are all bugging us CONSTANTLY about it....

    I get the "how long have you been together this time?" cuz they know this time we're really serious (living together and all) and then "so that makes how long all together over the past 4 years??" (about 2.5 years)
    and then "SO WHERES THE RING? Jeez youre taking it slow"

    I think they dont get that we'd rather be sure that we're happy living together for longer than a year before we commit to the next 40-60 years. :laugh:

    weird things eh...

    1. Even if its foolishly hot and sticky, I cannot sleep unless I have a blanket or something covering me.

    2. I hate talking to people on the phone, I always say the stupidest things!

    3. I am allergic to hazelnuts (filberts) but no other nut

    4. I have always had enlarged tonsils, to the point where my dentist and doctor thought I was always sick. But boy when I got sick they were massive! I eventually got them taken out when I was in grade 12

    5. I have crazy hitchhiker thumbs! They bend back to a 90 degree angle, it really freaks my bf out!

    6. I'm a female chemical physicist. That's strange enough, but I'm also the only person out of my entire extended family to have even gone to university or college. Where the brains came from, no one knows.

    7. When I was in grade 11, I was run over my a Christmas float. While laying on the ground I overheard the paramedics talking to themselves saying that my leg was so flat I must've crushed my femur into hundreds of pieces. Turns out I didn't break a single bone, just a sprained ankle and some nerve damage (I have no feeling in a small part of my leg).

    I'm the same way. Generally, I'll use a sheet and have my feet hanging out but my torso has to be convered.

    all uve got to do is let one leg hang out and it cools the rest of ur body down when u have a blanket on:bigsmile:

    I do the same, kicking one foot out and all.
    Altho the bf keeps the fan on high and Im almost always cold so ...yea. :laugh:

    I have the opposite problem! My bf gets really cold during the night, so he sleeps with an extra fleece blanket and turns the ac off. I have my arms and most of my legs out from under the thin blanket and and still wake up sweating :grumble:

    Me too. Torso MUST be covered.... or *something* might *get me*. I should probably attempt to get over that childhood fear, but it's a lot easier just to keep covered with a sheet! :laugh:

    Me too. Torso MUST be covered.... or *something* might *get me*. I should probably attempt to get over that childhood fear, but it's a lot easier just to keep covered with a sheet! :laugh:

    The ironic part is I hate to wear shirts to bed especially in the summer. :ohwell:

    ~ i cannot sleep nekked. i have tried so many times and i always wake up to go find a shirt, etc.

    ~ i am petrified of public restrooms. not the germs or anything like that - more like opening the stall door and the toilet is out of order or that lid thing is off and you can see inside or the toilet is missing for some reason. i get MAJOR anxiety about this. happened at work about a week ago. the first memory i have of this is first grade. i even have nightmares about it. :indifferent:

    ~ i do not eat pork products. not because of religion or pigs being filthy or anything really. i just do not eat them. i say its because i had wanted a pig as a pet, but i dont think that is 100% it either.

    ~ i have an incredible memory of details from the past (like who what where when and why, etc) and can recall events and stories like they happened yesterday. however, each and every day at least once a day, i walk into, lets say the kitchen, to get something and completely forget why i am there. sometimes i even forget what i am talking about mid sentence.

    ~ i get overly paranoid that people are mad at me. i cannot stand the fact i may be left out of something during these paranoid times, however if all is well i could care less.

    ~ i moved away from home 12 years ago with no REAL reason - not college, or a boyfriend, or anything solid - i just wanted to go. everyone thought i would be back for good in 6 months. they still ask when i am moving back.

    ~ i do not kill spiders or bugs in general. i actually saved a bee from drowing about a month ago (his stinger had fallen off but he was still alive). however, certain bugs like roaches or flying crickets or june bugs give me the CREEPS and i totally freak out about them.

    ~ i am one of those people who is like a sponge and asks questions and tries to learn from the people they meet. i also gather the info and apply it to my life. this annoys the *kitten* out of my friends because i talk to random people for no reason sometimes. BUT i always have some crazy story to tell after...you never know man! :wink:

    7 weird things about me...


    1: I can curl my toes under and walk on my toe knuckles....

    2: I can wiggle my ears

    3: I usually find something to cry about while reading a Stephen King book

    4: I do not like cooked onions but will eat them fresh....look like worms when cooked...ew

    5: I met Fabio....he is really ugly

    6: I have a tattoo on my whoo whoo....a greatful dead bear....tmi i know but its weird

    7: I have a rubber duck tattooed on my butt cheek and have been know to wear a t-shirt that says "have you seen my rubber duckie?"

    8: I know you said 7 but my 8 is really weird to most people....... I am married but refuse to use his name I use my ex husbands name still.

    1. I have to heat up my potato salad in the microwave before i eat it. :heart:
    2. I then put BBQ on my potato salad :love: (as well as my mac & cheese)
    3. I HAVE to sleep with a fan on full blast. Even if its freezing.
    4. I LOVE SUSHI, but will not eat fish that is cooked....:huh:
    5. I can not wear socks to bed or I wont be able to sleep :yawn:
    6. I check my bank account at least 20 times a day even when I know I havent spent anything, just to make sure its still the same balance. :embarassed:
    7. I'm terrifed of BUGS and SPIDERS and check my bed before I get in it to make sure there is nothing in my sheets :wink:

    I have a thing for scorpions. I have a necklace with one encased in...something. and a couple paperweights, and a keychain. Id love a pet scorpion but Id probably do somethin dumb and get stung.
    BUT I canNOT stand centipedes or looking at millipedes. I dont trust anything with more than 8 legs. Spiders dont really bother me but I will make someone else kill them if theyre in the house. I will squeel , jump, and run away from a centpede.:laugh:

    haha, we had some guys in Iraq that were catching camel spiders then incasing them in acrylic to bring home. People were hiding those things in all kinds of places. I won't go into further detail about bringin home other :devil: contraband *whistling*

    Every year at the WI state fair I go to a booth that has framed displays of different buggy creatures and theres always one with a scorpion and millipede looking like theyre in battle positions and it cracks me up. Theres always a $100 huge scorpion too. I cant see spending that much when a pet scorpion is like $40 less than that tho :tongue:

    Meanwhile PETA members are sobbing.

    So where in Wisconsin do you live? I was just up there last week doing some training at Ft McCoy and we stayed at a hotel in LaCrosse. Kinda rainy the first two days then it really cleared up. Beautiful weather. Nice people. The scenery was awesome. I'd love to ride my bike up there sometime.

    I used to live just outside of Milwaukee in a suburb called Menomonee Falls.
    Now I live in a Chicago suburb. Moved in with my bf a year ago. I just go back to WI a lot for visits and such

    word. I was up at McCoy earlier this year. In Feb. That is the last time I ever go that far north during that time of the year. Plus my shoe had a hole in the bottom.... all week, my feet were freezing. It sucked. Note to self: take warm boots to Wisconsin in winter.

    good. Im glad. I have a weird thing for knowing about serial killers. I dont know why but they fascinate me. Especially considering 2 of the 3 worst in history were from WI lol
