My cat Simon chases his tail, and if he's swishing it and can see that out of the corner of his eye he growls at it.

He also LUVS olives. I'll throw an olive on the floor, he'll lick it then just roll around on top of it.

My cat Orion was OBSESSED with hair. He would watch me brush my long hair in the bathroom and literally drool. If you picked him up he went straight for your hair. It was INSANE, but cute :)

My cat, his name is Duck, chews through cords and rubber snakes. He's been zapped by the power cord on the iron a few times. Could always tell, because all of a sudden, you'd hear a sharp meow, and he'd come running out of the bedroom with his fur standing on end. I'd had to replace two irons, and decided to leave the new one plugged in... It worked, he doesn't chew on that cord anymore. He had to have surgery once, because he chewed through a rubber snake, and had a one inch chunck caught in his intestines. Lately, he's been munching on the cord to the guitar hero guitar. I don't think it's all cords and plastics, just certain ones. Another idea is rubbing hot sauce on the cord...

Our dog Rhea should have been named Chewbacca, because that's what she sounds like when I come home. She doesn't greet anyone else that way, just me... Also whines when the kids are getting lectured. And sneezes like crazy when she's getting a belly rub. Now that it's warming up, she wants to go outside, and just lays on the deck for an hour or so. Then woofs to come in, realizes nothing exciting is going on, and wants to go back out 5 minutes later...

My big Doberman Kong ALWAYS rests his nose on the edge of the water bowl when drinking. It looks like he is just tooooooo tired to drink but knows he needs it!

My 2 Italian Greyhounds will NOT go outside to potty if it is raining or below 60 degrees.

My little min pin Chloe licks EVERYTHING!!!! She makes big wet spots on the sheets from licking, I have no idea what that is about. She is also my velcro dog, she has to be near me at all times. When she knows I am getting ready to go somewhere she slaps at my feet when I try to put my shoes on. She loves to go by by with mommy!

Chelsea (12 yr old daschund/beagle mix) when I take a bath/shower she sits on the toilet seat (lid down) until I'm done. She just sits and waits. She scratches her back on the carpet and makes the weirdest noises, sounds like she is trying to sing. Too funny!

Our dog Tucker, a golden retriever, started howling to the moon after the first time we studded him out. The female he hooked up with had 13 puppies. WOW!!!!!

One of the cats I used to have, Tigger, a black cat used to climb up our deck and perch himself on the peak of the roof and watch the sun go down. I also can't count how many times one of us startled him and he rolled down trying to claw at the shingles only to show us that cats really do land on their feet no matter how far they fall.

Anakin has this habit of crawling all over the printer, he hits the power button and thinks the printer is alive, so he starts batting at it.

If he thinks I'm ignoring him, he will jump up in my face or will hide in the closet and continue to speak until he has my attention.

Used to climb the curtains until they came down on him. Never did it again.

He has this habit of knocking things over, ripping the bag of fish food open eating the pellets. Drinking out of the fish tank, and plays in the bathtub when there is no water running. He steals pens and my measuring tape keeps disappearing on me.

I've found the bath tub stopper out in the living room more then once. He wouldn't give up trying to get at my sisters bird, so I took the lids off of the fish tank and he dove right in butt first  he got himself out before I could stand up from the chair. Determined to walk out in the hall with me. He used to follow me outside but something changed last time he diasppeared for two days. He doesn't wonder anymore, which causes me to raise an eyebrow.

He will climb into the fridge any chance that he gets.

When I do dishes he will jump up to the top of the cupboards and watch me clean.

He hides when I run the vaccum cleaner

Drifter (My Comman Oscar) and Anakin will have a staring contest and Drifter will attempt to attack Anakin through the glass. It's hilarious to watch 12 inch fish vs a cat

Rocky my bearded dragon will get mad everytime a cricket starts eating his favorite treat. I caught that on camera.

I caught him on film sticking his tongue out. He will start bobbing to the music turn me loose. One night he fell asleep on my foot as he watched Drifter swimming back and forth, Drifter was watching him too. (love Oscars, they're personality traits and vision perception is amazing.)

My kids had a cat that would let them hold him like a baby and he would suck on his tail like a baby bottle. Of course they would dress him up in a diaper and such. He tolerated all of it. :ohwell:

Okay don't have pets now, but when I was a baby we had a dog. My mom said that if I didn't stop crying when he thought I should have, he'd run to my mom and bark, then run to me. and back and forth

my baby girl chloe lays on her back and when I scratch her belly she puts her paws up together and it looks like she is praying. It's the cutest thing.

When I was about 10 yrs old I had a puppy and kitten that would play and chase each other, and every time, the kitten would run behind the t.v. and the puppy would go and sit in front fo the screen waiting for the kitty to show up on the t.v. It was halarious!!!!

I also used to have a dog part great dane part chow, his name was booger, he would eat LIT cigarrette butts. He wouldn't even let you stomp them out, he would just pick them up off of the ground and eat them while they were still lit. He used to jump the fence so one day I tied him to the fence because I knew we were going to be gone for a while. Well........I came home and he was gone and so was my entire wood privacy fence!!! I never saw him again. I miss him, he was soooo cool.

I also had a boxer/pitbull Jax. When he would get sleepy he would get up in his rocking recliner and rock himself to sleep.

I live in a condo and people have call up to come into the building and my cat knows the difference between a normal ring of the phone and the ring when someone calls from downstairs. He can be sound asleep when the phone rings normally but he jumps up and hides when the phone rings when someone is calling from downstairs, LOL.

My horse drinks soda out of bottles. He just picks it up and turns the bottom up.

My dog lily LOVES meat, and she'll beg for seafood too, but as soon as she gets a scallop or calamari or octopus (sushi) she runs away and hides it under something and growls if you get to close to her hiding spot. it smells.

I have a cat her name is Eko. One time when she was about 8 months old She decided to get in my clothes drier. Well I didn't think anything about it. I didn't even see her in there. I finished putting the rest of the clothes from the washer to the drier and I had closed the dryer and started the dryer and went to get a cup of coffee. Well a few minutes later I was hearing this clump, clump, clump well I still didn't think anything about it untill about 10 minutes later because I was still hearing that darn clump, clump noise. So I went and opened the dryer door and started to search through the clothes and low and behold there was Eko. I felt so bad. She looked like she just got off of the worlds biggest spinning ride there was. I think she used up 6 of her 9 lives (Eko is the cat that is in the pic for my profile) Well I think the dryer might have made her real smart. When I am getting ready for bed and I get up to go to the fridge for some cold water she will sit down next to me and stair at me until I am done drinking my water. She will not move from that spot even though I am walking to the bedroom until I ask her if she is ready for bed then she will get up and run and jump in to bed and crawl under the covers and goes to sleep and will stay there until morning

my cat charlie (on the left in my ticker) has ALWAYS had an obsession with knocking things off tables, counters, desks, whatever! he sees something, like a cell phone or a remote. sits next to it and gently pushes it until it falls off. then he just looks at it on the floor and walks away. :noway:

My sister has a deaf cat that does the same thing. He can't hear the noise so it doesn't scare him but I think he just likes the way things look when they are crashing to the floor.

My cat, Quesedilla, looooves to play in the water! When I go into the bathroom, she runs in there and meows at me until I turn on the water in the tub, then she gets in the tub and bats at the water flow. When I refuse she'll get on the toilet and swish the water around for a long time!

Our friends have a miniature Aussie Sheepdog. She's been trained to ring a bell next to the door when she has to go to the outdoor "bathroom". She does it all the time without fail.
