Coffee, especially when paired with a banana. To be extra sure, you can eat flax cereal too. If that breakfast doesn't get you going, I don't know what will.

Greens. Even the canned Glory brand kind.
  • Coffee, oranges, prunes...
  • Fiber One Chewy bars- I highly recommend them :-)
  • Nothing is working for me since I stopped smoking a month ago! Cigarettes are the best laxative, however they have many downsides so I am using Senna (too regularly!)

Whatever you do, don't pop Alli like Tic-Tacs; that would be entering dangerous poo-territory.

    Hopefully any of it, eventually.

The fibrous parts of food that don't digest helps. Coffee also gets things moving. Lots of water... water and moving around is really the best thing.

I actually put the Benefiber powder into my drinks, oatmeal, etc. I usually only need 1 serving a day to help out (2 tsp) and I cannot taste it at all. Sometimes coffee doesn't even help me - so I have to resort to that stuff.

Let me ask this question thats along these lines...

Did you find that when you eat cleaner you #2 less? Cleaner eating should mean less waste right? Makes sense to me, but I have no evidence to support it other than my own experience.

Fruits and veggies. Eat lots of them! They have lots of fiber but also a high water content to keep things moving, plus lots of good vitamins and minerals and all that great stuff.

Kind of gross (but on topic) story:
My husband is away on military training and has been eating ramen noodles and hot pockets in his hotel room for about 2 weeks. Yesterday he mentioned that he misses my "crazy healthy cooking" because he hasn't had a good poop in a week and a half!

I guess that's one way to feel loved.

my fiance is like that too...when he's away at camp, he lives on crap...but when he comes home all he wants is salads and fruit. His guts can't handle hamburgers anymore because there's no fast food in camp lol
