So here is my dramatic pathetic update... So last night I got called into babysit for one of my families last minute because her mom was getting set up in a hospital.. I said yes cuz I need the money, but then I didnt get off work until 12:30 and was too tired to drive back to the apt. let alone to go work out, so I crashed at my parent's house and didnt work out at all. so today after work I REALLY need to go kick my own *kitten*. really hard core.
So my day has gotten even worse.. Here I am sitting in work, and a nice man comes in to ask if the Scion in the parking lot was mine, I said yes, his reply "Your front right tire just went flat" me - o.0....... Turns out someone Effing slashed my tire!!! WHO DOES THAT!?!?!!!!?!??! And I don't know anyone really up here in Grand Blanc besides my own family... and they would never do that! I am SOOOO angry and upset right now.. sigh... I have a feeling that this is how my whole day is going to go...
I CANNOT wait to get off work and go spend 4 hours kicking my own *kitten* around... seriously I cannot wait.0 -

Hi just got back from the doctor and she was proud of my sugar readings. and I had lost 5 lbs. since my last visit 2 months ao. She said I was retaining fluild and up my water pills to 1 1/2 and the next day 1 pill. I knew I had put on some wight but was hoping it will come off before Sat.. I don't want to fall down into the lower bracket. I wanted a 1 lb lost and here I am +3 lbs. well start on the water pills and go to the bathroom all day and sending me to a doctor to check my circulatiions next week. My ankles ae really swollen up.She thought the trike sounded real good. Even gave me some free insulin. That will help out.
B--- sorry to hear about your tires. Don'dt let it get you down.
barbiecat---I have a nice lunch of chopped salad/vinagaar. 1 Oz of pork tenderlion and a yogurt. Big glass of tea. It is getting rather warm here

Updating once a week would totally make my eyes go wonkers!! I can't imagine looking and deciphering 100 different TLLML's and 100 different CW's on one day and updating over 2 master lists on the same single day. I would honestly have a mini if not major panic attack! yikes!
I like updating once a day. On average, it's 10-15 different entries to update. It's good, manageable.
I love seeing people's progress, jumping to different categories, getting closer to their GW or if they maintained or EVEN gained, they have the courage to share their work in progress and still show commitment to their fitness and weight loss- I really admire that so much- so motivating to the rest of the team, to themselves, and even to others who are not on this list but might stop by to read the list once in a while to know that it is possible!
Doing it once a week, the chart gets stale from looking at the same data for 7 days. Having it updated everyday makes it dynamic and full of energy. I like it and hope others find it so!!
Anyways, tks for looking out for me Marie!! :flowerforyou: A quiet day on the updating front. Ah, it's all good! We're all on MFP and that's the most important thing.

Hi everyone,
Im having a really bad day.. no.. one of the WORST days...
I will try and break things down in a simpler way..
umm So my car tire got slashed,
Had only nasty people come into the store today,
mom and I got into a little fight,
Dad made me cry,
People are just super mean.... (long story bout this)
and Grant almost got arrested,
his mom and I staged a mini intervention,
We broke up,
I have packed up all his clothes,
I have been crying for close to two hours...
My heart is pretty much shattered into a 100 pieces... no.. a thousand.
umm
I did manage before the Ex-Bf drama happened to spend over 2 hours at the gym!
I did TWO couch to 5k podcastss and a bunch of weights/strength training...
those things felt incredible.. And this time I am not going to allow the emotional/personal stresses
keep me from reaching my goals.. I will lose this next 15 pounds. I will!

B so sorry about your broken heart. Things will look bettter in the morning.Sorrry your dad had words with you. He only want the best for his little girl. What happen to Grant. He wasn't always like this or you wouldn't have fell in love with him. Hope you get a good night sleep. we are here for you. Cry on our shoulders all you want.

Oh my B! How terrible! Good thing I logged on to see what was happening. I'm so so so so sorry you're hurting so bad in every way and most especially you're breaking up with Grant. Breakups are the toughest, most challenging things to go through in life.
We're here for you in any small way you ask of us. A ((hug)), or just to listen. Stay strong. Do you keep a journal? Try writing things down so it's not all just swimming in your head.
So glad you're confiding in us.It's ok to cry, it really is ok. One step at a time. We're here for you and we loveyou B! Take very good care of yourself ok B.

B----I am so sorry to hear about your breakup with Grant---stay close to the people who care about you (like your MFP friends :bigsmile: ) and take life one day at a time. Actually, stay in the moment. don't try to figure out the rest of your life right now. You will survive. I survived a heartbreaking breakup years ago and did it without drinking or overeating. In fact it was when my first marriage broke up that was when I started working out at a gym. The workouts were part of what saved my sanity.

mfpme---I love my yoga video----It's called "Rodney Yee's Yoga for Beginners" I got it from Amazon.com there are other videos by Rodney Yee, but this is the only one I've seen, so far.

My line dance teacher is 73 years old. The yoga teacher is 79 and the student next to me is 78 so I figure I'll take the lead from them. If they can do, I can too. I am so excited that I am getting stronger. I balance the exercise with knitting and watching TV and petting dogs and cats.

Calie- things did look brighter when I woke up, and my dad is just looking out for me, and grant wasn't always a huge partier, and didnt always cloud his mind with constant substance abuse.. no. He was a wonderful guy when I met him, he truely made me happy, and we were wonderful together. I love his family to death, but after the first 8 months or so things started to go down hill, and the last 6 months I have been babying him, i have threatened, I have done everything i could possibly think of to turn his life around, and I though after last months huge meltdown and scare that he was changing well.. last night prooved me wrong.. sigh. I told him I will be his friend and support him through his rehab stage, and the emotional parts. but for now, and possibly forever he and I are DONE as a couple. It has just caused me way to much pain the last year or so..
Mfpme- gosh I wish you could see my eyes today. I look like i ate shellfish and had a HUGE reaction that is how bad they are. but things will turn around.. and I know I will make it through this. I have gone through WAY more emotional things, this is just another test i guess from the cosmic being... (although it is times like this when I am really am not sure what I believe in...) I am feeling better today.. so far. Grant moved his clothes out this morning. that was hard..
Barbie- I SOOO cannot wait to get to the gym tonight and just pound out everythign. I know it wil help sooo much. I am trying to live in the moment, and am certainly trying to find the beauty in small things or the pleasure in small things.. The hardest part for me right now is that Grant kind of swooped up and saved me after the miscarrage. he was there for me, he was like a guardian angel. And it hurts sooooooooo much that I cannot save him. That I couldnt save him, that it is going to have to take more then just me to do this. That is honestly what has shattered my heart. OH and wow your teachers sound amazing! I can only dream to be 79 and being that active!

Good Morning Calie cat
We couldn't go without our cats. Haifa likes to ride under the couch and Bernie gets under the bedspread. Once we are parked, the ylike to sit on the dash and look out the big window. We have two cat beds that we put on the dash so they can be comfortable. We don't let the cats out when we travel so they have to look out the windows to enjoy the outdoors. The motorhome is 30 feet long and just the right size for the six of us. the dogs like to ride on the couch.
We will be gone for 3 1/2 weeks. I think every RV park we'll be staying in has wifi and we have a laptop computer so I should be able to check in with you about as often as I do now.

Barbie---and the rains keep coming down. I am changing my diet sonewhat . It is the South Beach dDiet. basically the same diet as I was on except you don't eat as often. That every hour was a little bit too much for me. It is clean eating too.

Good Morning to all
This is my weigh in day and I lost another 3 pounds. With our trip coming up this is especially good news. I talked to one of my friends last night to make plans for when we get to California and we agreed to meet to do something active without eating involved. :bigsmile:
I'm off to line dance this morning---the very fast paced advanced class.
Caliecat. The south beach diet seemed to have a lot of recipes and stuff. You'll like that with all your interest in trying new things. You'll also like not having to be in the right place to eat every hour. I wish you the best. :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:
