5' 7'' What is your goal?

I am around 5'7" - 5'8" and weight around 130 or a little less. I still have belly fat! I would actually like to lose around 5-10lbs to see what it looks like. I am definitely top-heavy, DD chest and thin legs so that may be my issue as well.0

It amazes me that so many of my fellow 5'7" womens goal weight is less than 150. I didn't think that was achievable (at least not for my body type)
But height has nothing to do with body composition. Look at some of the pictures from 5'7" women who are less than 140, I would not say we look "sickly" but we do have different compositions. Bone density, musculature, frame size make a big difference in weight.0 -
135! I'm there. I sometimes dip as low as 132 or as high as one 137, but that's usually where I stay.0
-
I'm 5'7" and my goal is 147 or 23% body fat. I am currently at 29% body fat. Any smaller and I think I look sickly.

BLT - totally depends on body type. I wear a size 2 or sometimes size 4 pants and a size 4 or 6 dress (Sometimes an 8 depending on who makes it) and I have a 32 or 34 D chest depending on the maker of the bra. It is 100% how your weight is distributed and what your frame looks like! I have NO hips!
Frankly, it AMAZES me that women's clothing gets manufactured at all, with all of our different bodies!0 -
Honestly I'd be soo happy to be atleast 170-160. I would want to go lower but I'd be content with 160.0
-
145 is my tentative goal. I will decide for sure when I am closer to it if I want to be around there or lose any more. I think it might be the right spot for me though.0
-
@silvabelle89 You look awesome. I wouldn't lose anything.
I personally focus more on what I see than what the scale says. When I get to the point where there's nothing obvious to lose I won't care what the number is.0 -

I am all hips, have an AA chest, and am about the same size as you... Thankfully we can buy different size bikini bottoms and tops, lol0 -
I'm 5'8.5 but I'm still posting, :P
My goal weight is 160 and then will go from there. Thanks for this post because it has given me a kick in the pants to go online and find a few pictures of women in my height and body structure range and use those as motivation.0 -
My goal weight is 135-150. Wherever I feel comfortable.0

I'm 5' 7" and 175 is my goal. I have a large frame, curvy, athletic so 175 I look 130, I carry my weight well and am pretty thin for me at that weight. I would love to see if I could go further and do 155, but that is very small for me, so we'll see when I'm there.0

My goal is to get down to about 150-155. I have a medium frame, hourglass shape, large breasts. I don't really want to be super thin - I never really have been, and I kind of like my curvy body. I'd like to be a size 8 or so. I'm 165 right now. Two months ago I was 175, after having two babies in about a year and a half.0

i started out at 223 and am shooting for 173. i honestly think the last time i weighed that was 6th grade haha so i have no idea how i'm going to look. but i'll probably want to go for more0
-
Dang you are good looking....sorry just say your proflie pic and thought dang she is cut and chiseled im jealous and miss my 6-pack! hahah keep it up!0
-
I am 5'6'' 1/2 and weight 132 also! I am going to 125? Still in the healthy range and my body looks better smaller but you look smokin!0
-
I'm 5'8" my goal is 148. I don't know if I could maintain anything less than that long term. Current weight 158.0

My goal weight is 150-155. I think that's low enough for my age (58). Have a long ways to go. In fact, I've been charting EVERYTHING I put in my mouth and all of my exercise, etc. staying within the points the site gives me and I've GAINED weight! lol! My life is very stressful right now so I'm thinking it's probably the cortisol in my body. My plan is to just keep on keeping on until the stress lets up and then hope for a HUGE drop in the scale!0
-
It used to be 135...but I just saw that Healthy/Ideal weight chart that went out and for 5'7" the ideal range is 120 to 140, so I am carving that back to 130. I am at 149 today. :P0

im 5'7". my goal weight was 135. im currently 135 and now i want to shoot for 130 cuz i still look a little thick0

5'7" Here
My Ultimate goal, numerically speaking is 141. That puts me right in the middle of Normal BMI and would represent 100lbs lost.
My real goals are fitness, medium shirts and (I dunno) 30 inch waist jeans.
My next goal is another 16 pounds by halloween. That would be 159lbs, normal weight and 5 pounds lighter than I can remember being in my adult life. The other 18 would have to come off by March 13th my birthday. If I can't quite reach that weight and I like how I feel and look I may decide I'm maintaining wherever I am, but we'll see.0 -
I am 5' 7" and aiming for 135. I have to admit though that I more or less just picked this number out of thin air as I've never been anywhere near it. I want to get down to that number and see whether I like it or not and also whether it's a sustainable weight for me. I weigh 150 now and am already quite happy with this but there is some saggy skin that needs toning up. I am a UK 12 (US 8 I think?) and want to fit into UK 10 clothes comfortably. Almost forgot: I am a "pear", next to no boobs (thank you, inventor of push up bras!), relatively flat stomach, not much of a defined waist, wide hips and proportionally big thighs.
Highest weight (end of 2010): 292.5 (132 kg)
Current weight: 150 (68 kg)
Target weight: 135 (61 kg)0 -
My goal is 130-135 lbs. But my real goal is 15-18% body fat. I think that weight would put me in the right range, but I'm gonna have to get my BF tested to be sure. From there I want to try and put back on about 5 lbs of solid muscle.0
-
I hover around 135-138 and fine with it. I've discovered that even though I am a very active person, I'd have to eat a lot less if I had a lower goal weight, which I'm not really willing to do. I'm athletic and I feel good, that's what counts. I think IDEALLY I'd be about 130.
Right now I'm about 19.5-20% body fat. It's all in my lower body. I wear a size 4-6 depending on the brand.
Hello fellow CT'ian! I'm in Fairfield
Wow...exactly my stats and attitude...size, bf %, weight, body type...everything. Samesies!0 -
I'm 5'6", jean size 16 and 38%body fat. My goals are to be a jean size 10-12 and 20%body fat... although it is taking far longer than I expected. My body just refuses to let go of the inches around my waist and hips as well as my body fat. But I'm stubborn so I guess my body is too, good grief! :P0
-
I am 5'7 and is at 179 lbs right now. My goal is 160 lbs for now but when I get there and if I wanna get to 150 lbs then I'll try. I don't wanna be muscular and built tight, I just wanna be smaller than I am now.0
-
135-140! i have a medium frame. started at 163 and the scale hovers between 153-155 these days.0
-
I am same height. I have about 100 pounds to lose, I just started a few days ago. My goal is 140, which according to my dietitian is smack dab in the middle of normal weight range for our height. :-)0

Hey,
you look amazing, message me some of your secrets?? :)
i'm 5'9 and 157lbs, I'm new to this site today actually. My goal is 125...may be a little too much weight to lose for my height.0 -
I'm 5'8" and have a goal of 150...once I'm there I'm going to see how I look...might go to 145 or even 140. At this point, just concentrating on the 150 goal and that will put me back where I was 10 1/2 yrs ago when I started this job. :flowerforyou:0
