    Portland: about 40% of population is not obese & overweight.
    There are cities with a greater percentage than 40%.
    Furthermore, there are quite a few cities that have much more than 34% obese.

    The magazine and its interpretations are skewed.

    By the way, number of fast food restaurants doesn't matter if
    a) majority of residents are not eating fast food,
    b) The residents choose healthy selections from those restaurants

    Also, BMI is not a good indicator of fitness as my hydrostatic weighing has proved.
    Unknown how CDC gets its numbers and how sample correlated to population

    As for me, whether my city is first (I live in Portland, OR) or last, doesn't matter to me. Where I am in regard to my own personal fitness matters to me.
