    Recipe name- Chocolate Cupcakes
Taste like Brownies Without the guilt

    Number of Servings 24

    Ingredients
    Libby's - 100% Pure Pumpkin- 15 oz Can, 1 container (1 4/5 cups ea.)
Betty Crocker - Super Moist - Chocolate Fudge Cake (Mix Only), 1 container (1 package ea.)
Batter is very thick so I used a small Ice Cream scoop to put into cupcake cups
350 degrees for 20-25 min or until toothpick comes out clean. Depends on oven. Mine took 25 min

    Per Serving: Calories73, Carbs 16, Fat 1, Protein 1, Sodium 159 , Chol 0
You can sprinkle with powdered sugar or top with frosting but the are great plain.

These ARE TOTALLY amazing!!! I've made these MANY times in the past... Used to be just 1 WW point, not sure what they are now. :-) These are awesome!!! :-D

    Hi,
Please update your original post, because it is kind of misleading. Unless you are not filling the cupcake liners and are making the cupcakes very small, these calories are too low. I think people may think that big cupcakes will have only 73 calories. I have seen and used this same recipe from Hungry Girl many many times and yes they are scrumptious! But these calories should be for a mini cupcake. The regular size cupcakes have about 180 calories each and you only get 12 from one recipe. I like the Duncan Hines devil's food best. Let me give you the link for the recipe:

    http://www.hungry-girl.com/newsletters/raw/367

You can also mix a devil's food cake mix with a can of sugar free cherry pie filling and 2 T of water and cook them the same way for chocolate cherry cupcakes!

Also, sifting the cake mix before mixing makes for a much better cupcake!

Might try it later with a white cake or carrot cake mix and a little pumpkin pie spice.
    Great idea Jworb!!

Also: instead of plain or with powdered sugar, try topping with sugar-free cool whip. It's my favorite processed treat.

You can probably use plum puree instead of pumpkin.... but it depends on how, er, sensitive you are to fiber.
