Unfortunately when you make positive changes in your life there are going to be some people that don't like it. They are usually insecure with themselves and instead of jumping on the bandwagon and changing with you they try to drag you down so that you don't go anywhere with them. Sometimes when we change we learn who our real friends are, some you get rid of and others you hold on tighter to. And with change always comes new friends too!

You're never in this life alone, keep it going you're looking great!

Don't worry about it! You look amazing and if you feel good about yourself go ahead and show off all you want! If I had your looks and body I would show off too! As to nasty comments - ignore!

You look amazing! Don't listen to jealous people. Time to "defriend"! You don't need them!
  • Comments like that are born from jealousy most of the time so I would just take them as a compliment, you look great and if you feel great then no one can touch you :drinker: Well Done!

I only post that I've lost weight on facebook when I want to piss people off. Facebook is for drama and unmotivated people. oh ya and sarcasm... lots of sarcasm. let people hate their way to the buffet in their snuggys.

I've learned to never mention anything about working out/weight loss, etc. on facebook. People aren't interested. Lots of reasons for that. That's why MFP is sooooo fun...:)

Time to mass unfriend on Facebook. You don't need those "friends".

The only response you need to post: "u so jelly."
  • You look lovely hun, I agree with everyone they are only jealous saying nasty things to you. Head up and you be proud of your achievements.

Sounds to me like they are the ones who would need photoshop to look as good as you do in that great dress! Ignore them, they're just jealous (and really b1tchy!!)

While I agree that the status update is iffy, it's not anorexic. people should know you better. also, people who say that you'Re photoshopped need to be chopped from you friend list. you're hot. (exceot for the duck face, but nobody can pull that off and look cute at the same time :)

Agree ^. Sometimes I tell myself this and it helps. Like when everyone is having nachos and I'm over my calorie limit for the day. I actually say to myself, "I promise you nachos do not taste as good as having a flat tummy feels." And it really does help. It's all in how you look at it.
But I certainly wouldn't say it in front of anyone I knew that struggled with anorexia. So, maybe posting it wasn't a great idea, but whatever. You can't please everyone.
I know everyone has said this, but you really might want to clean out your friends list. I'm doing it myself. Plus, I have certain friends that I discuss weight issues with and I don't post those messages publicly unless we're being oblique. I swear, at times it feels like a dirty little secret. lol But it works for me.

Also, I think you look fantastic! :flowerforyou:
