Yeah, it's what you think! He is talking on the phone with his best friend, and happened to walk toward me, still blabbing, and comes up to me and grabs them and smiles, then keeps going.

Ok, so, guys, tell me, am I supposed to be turned on by this display of...um... heck, I don't even know what to call it!

    He's just messing about - especially if he was on the phone at the time.

    I myself find it hilarious to do stuff like that while my boyfriends in a long phone conversation, especially if he really wants to get out of it, but doesn't want to just say "ok, bye!" and be rude. He finds it funny too but tries not to laugh for obvious reasons :D
