words I use typically whenever I'm talking to a female. These words are used daily and often and are used for people I know or donot know:
Baby
Love (my favorite, throws people off since I'm indian and its more of an Irish thing)
honey
sexy (only to girls I know, would never ever say to an unfamiliar face)
gorgeous
beautiful
good looking
sugar
darling
love of my life (to girls I am on a very familiar base)
I'm pretty sure theres more but I cant recall, basically anything that comes to mind
Edit: I have been asked to not call them baby about 2 times and have always respected it but after knowing them for a few weeks, they endup calling ME baby0 -

It's nice to be sweet, especially when other people recognize it0 -

By the way, those names are VERY ... personal.. at least compared to what I'm used to.
*Someone* gets around ;D0 -
Unless it's a robust Southern woman, I find it kind of patronizing.0

I prefer salty0

Whenever people say it, it's always in a condescending way. I always try to be nice, polite and courteous, but then some people just assume there's nothing more to me (until they decide I'm exactly the opposite), and they're like "awwww, you're so sweeeeeeeeeet." bleh.0 -

I definitely dislike it when I know the person is using it in a condescending/belittling way... but when I get it from, say, a mentor, or a friend, it's really nice0 -

lol. That must have been terrible growing up if people knew that... How many sweet and sour jokes?0

Oh I love when people use terms of endearment!! There are so many people out there who are not the nicest and when someone calls you something sweet I immediately feel more friendly towards them :flowerforyou:0

"Doll" or "Honey"0

it all depends on how/when/who you say it to. If you thought the list above made by me was bad, you have no clue how much "personal" I can get. However, over the years I have learned the finesse and have so far stayed out of trouble. Keep in mind, alot of the things I say are in front of the girls significant other too. Like I said, it all depends on how/when/who you say it to.0

Once upon a time I worked a customer service job. My favorite people to talk to were from the south and called you Honey, Darlin, Sweetie, and I loved every moment of it. It made me feel loved and appreciated and those people could probably get away with murder if they talked to me with that sweet Southern hospitality. There's just nothing else like it to me. So I've tried to adopt that in my own life, even though I am not from the south. It's just to try to help those I associate with feel more comfortable and like i care.0

I love being called "hun!" It makes me feel like I'm a member of an ancient Mongolian horde, terrorizing Mulan while plundering and pillaging my way through life. :-)0

I'll answer to anything except Jenni. I'm from Texas so calling someone honey, sweetie, hun, doll, darling, sugar, etc is as habitual as saying y'all or fixin' to.0

Nice. I was actually thinking of something similar to this.0 -

Cool. My ancestors were cousins to the Huns. My Daddy spoke about that with pride, though he called me Princess.
I don't mind being called "hun" , "sweety", or "baby" if it is said with affection. My husband, however, can call me "Helen" and make it the sweetest sound in the whole world.0 -
I don't like many terms of endearment from strangers. I do enjoy them when it's my husband saying them to me. He makes this girl's heart melt with happiness and love. :blushing: :blushing:0

Older contractors and farmers coming in to where I worked, calling me princess, honey, sweetie, sugar: ah, no no.
Proceed to ask for a hug, look me up and down, etc.: y'all lookin for a whoopin?
Try to touch me: "accidentally" step hard on your foot, oh I AM sorry.0
