Oh I was terrible. My stomach was in pain after every sitting-and I still wouldn't stop! I must have an extremely fast metabolism because my highest weight was 120, but I feel like I should have been a whole lot higher than that! I'm a huge bored eater. My family would also order out a lot. Let's see, pizza was my favorite and I could easily down 3-4 slices of pizza and 3-4 breadsticks/pieces of cheesy bread at once and come back for seconds moments later! Going out to resturaunts I would always finish my plate first and then help my brother finish his. Oh, I was terrible. I haven't been this bad for quite some time, but these days did exist!0

I used to eat something every time i watched television. It was horrible,I was over 200 lbs , as my name I truly became a food addict..0

Every sunday my ex and I used to go out for breakfast, I would have pancakes, maple syrup and bacon. On the way home we would buy a couple of tubs of pringles, large bag of doritos, large bag of toffee popcorn, haribos, chocolate and 4litres of soda. We would eat this during the day while watching films then at 4.30 (opening time) we would order a chinese (enough for 4 people)
On the rare occasion there were "leftovers" they would get eaten for breakfast on a monday!0 -

I used to be bulimic, and my biggest binge was a bit over 12,000 calories.
I also used to eat entire cans of frosting, peanut butter, and nutella. Could easily eat an entire Little Ceasar's pizza plus crazy bread, two boxes of cereal with milk, or a dozen donuts and quart of ice cream in one sitting.0 -
Large dominos pizza and their little cookie things, I'd eat all of it....... in one sitting. Despite feeling sick I'd still keep going
I could easily do a tub of Ben and Jerrys in one go, I'd buy a 4 pack of muffins/brownies and tell myself I'd only have one and save them, then I'd just eat all of them within a couple of hours. Can't have anything like that in the house!0 -
i've never been a massive fast food eater as i have trouble with greasy food, but chocolate has always been my massive downfall.
When i was bad i was eating at least 200g of milk chocolate a day on top of fairly healthy eating 3 meals a day diet (i've always eaten fruit and veg). So prob eating around 2000 cal a day and with the chocolate on top was around 3000cal a day!
Thankfully i've gone off milk chocolate (yay!) and am now eating around the 1600-1700 cal a day and losing weight steadily.
Just need to get more active now!0 -
Did you hear someone had a heart attack at the "Heart Attack Grill" Scary how we used to eat!!!0

I could eat 3000-4500 calories a day without thinking! One day when I started logging my food, I put in all the food I used to eat (chips, cookies, mcdonalds) and it was double what I should be eating. I had no CLUE about portion sizes. I'd eat a sleeve of oreos instead of two.

My main issue was alcohol. I would drink 6-10 beers a few nights a week, then after drinking I would eat a lot right before bed! Gained 25 Lbs. in one year! Now no alcohol for me for 9 months and I've lost about 40 Lbs.0

I would eat and eat until I had that sick, overfull, nauseated feeling. It didn't matter what kind of food it was. Restaurant food was a particularly big binge though.
The thing is, even though I was 'thin' most of my life, I had horrible eating habits. And because my weight wasn't an issue, I never bothered to learn to eat well, nor did I pay attention to fitness...
...until my weight became an issue and I was forced to learn portion control and also became active.
Honestly, though, I still have days I eat a ton. One day last week I was particularly hungry and ate over 3000 cals in one day. I was starving! The difference is, I didn't feel sick after, or ashamed.
I'm learning, as I am sure all of you are, that it is about balance.0 -
I'm about to make myself sick, but I used to get a 20 piece Chicken McNugget, a large fry, a large Hi-C, and an Angus Mushroom & Swiss.
And then get three Nacho Cheese Chalupas, a Nacho Bell Grande, and two Chicken Quesadillas from Taco Bell.
Uuuuuughhhhhh!0 -
first day i started this program i made home made pizza inc base thinking it was super healthy i ended up eating most of the pizza. i was shocked at how many cal's it was. (3/4 of my days cal's) had no idea about cal's before. a huge eye opener. i would get macca's for lunch with an apple pie then be hungry an hour later. thank god my friend recommended this to me:flowerforyou:0

I've always eaten healthily, but portion control is my biggest foe. Watching tv with my bf, I could easily down 3 big glasses of fruit juice and an entire bag of cashews and maybe a banana too, I had no clue.0
-
You mean 1 serving size of Doritos isn't a full bag
Used to down a bag like no bodies business!0 -
I use to eat a full XL pasty, with a large drink, chips and then eat desert as well.... yesterday I couldn't even get through my medium one!0
-
Complete bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Miniatures......in one day, sometimes one sitting.
Reese's are still currently a vice of mine, although I try to enjoy them at a less rampant pace.
Reece'speanut butter cups and Reece's pieces must have crack in them, I just can't buy any of them because I could eat them until my heart stops :sad:0 -
10 large fried potato logs, half a bag of chips and a Snickers Candy bar for lunch the day before i decided that enough is enough.0
-
Weirdly enough, the most I ever ate in one sitting was also when I weighed the lightest. At 110 pounds, I polished off an entire medium thin crust pizza by myself! Aided by certain substances, unfortunately... I guess that was about 5 years ago.0

I am very new to this so my "used to be" is still pretty recent... as in like up to a couple weeks ago.
I have always had a hard time with controlling myself when the food is there. For example, pretty much anytime I have ever bought a cheesecake I have eaten the entire cake in one sitting. Or a few weeks ago I bought a box of 24 ice cream sandwiches for my family and ate them all within 24 hours (myself). Fast food has always been terrible fo me (particularly when I worked in the industry lol) I used to get 1/2 pounder meals with upsized fries and pop almost every day when I worked at DQ.... oh and of course icecream to top it off. I get really bad cravings too. I used to get such terrible sweets cravings when I was a teenager and not in control of the groceries that I would scour the cupboards for something sweet and when I couldn't find something I would open up a package of instant pudding, mix it with milk and eat the whole thing.... I don't know why I have such a compulsion. My solution thus far is to just keep stuff out of the house bc otherwise I know I will break.
Re-reading this it really sounds like I had a major eating problem growing up . Thank god I was really active and involved in tons of sports0 -
I wasn't super bad, but bad enough. I would eat out at restaurants and have an appetizer, entree and dessert. I would eat fried foods, not all the time but enough. I think for me, it was really my lack of exercise. I did not work out at all and I think that is important for me and will continue to be important when I reach maintenance phase.0

I've always been capable of eating large amounts of food... for a time, though, I just never wanted to. I went to a buffet with friends when I was in recovery for anorexia (oh, the irony) and I ate five full plates of food, plus two smaller plates of dessert, just to prove that I could. No, I'm not kidding. But even though I physically could eat that much, I was completely satisfied with much smaller portions...
Now, though, I'm really having a hard time with bingeing. I've been eating 2400 calories a day several times a week for the past week or two, including today. Once I start to binge, I tend to just write off the entire day as ruined, and so I eat more... and then it's like I'm never full, or I just don't know when/how to stop eating. It's scary. I'm giving up a lot of trigger foods for Lent, though, and I'm hoping that I'll get out of this cycle.
But anyway, today, I ate half a loaf of homemade French bread and 12 ounces of yogurt, and then came back later for about twenty or thirty crackers, a rice cake, a couple of tablespoons of almond butter, an apple, and four squares of chocolate, on top of two regular meals. 2400 calories right there. Yeah, today was not a good day. It's kind of scary, though, how much I can consume in one sitting without feeling full.0 -
Oh, I was awful! I would go to Outback and get a bloomin onion, a cup of clam chowder, a steak, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. And I would eat ALL OF IT. It's insane to think about that now! But I mostly just ate things because they were in front of me. If I ordered a pizza, I couldn't just eat a slice or two.. I had to eat 5 slices until I felt like I was going to explode. And downing an entire pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream was a nightly thing for me.
Gosh.. all I can say is I'm really glad I caught myself early. I gained 50 pounds in the past 3 years eating that way.. so it's a good thing I didn't keep it up any longer. Now I can't imagine going back to my old habits!0 -
how about eating 6 serving bowls of porridge, few packets of durian fruits (it's awesome)... lol i was horrible!!
drinking bubbletea every day when i was working in a bubble tea shop.0 -
I use to eat a full XL pasty, with a large drink, chips and then eat desert as well.... yesterday I couldn't even get through my medium one!
A pasty? I wonder if they're the same kind I'm thinking of. If so, then I'll be surprised.0 -
1/4 of a lasagne that's meant for 6, 4/5 BBQ wings, rice, coleslaw, and desert.
Sometimes 12 hotwings in one go.
I've had about 12 oatmeal cookies in the last 2 weeks, but I had a really bad craving that not even fresh fruits can satisfy, did burn them off in extra workouts though. Need to control my portion size and ill be set. But a 45g recommended serving servo just doesn't help.0 -
when I worked at the mall I would get a large Orange Julius drink and then walk over to New York fries and get a large fries with cheese sause and then walk over to either KFC for 3 pieces of chicken or A&W for a burger. I would eat all that on my lunch break and then grab a family size bag of peanut M&Ms and a family bag of wine gums to eat back at work in the afternoon.
If I went to McDonalds I would order a Big Mac meal with super size fries and Coke and an extra 10 piece chicken nugget as well!
Food Courts still give me goose bumps!!0 -
so bad that it made me weigh over 360 pounds!
i think my worst were the days i'd eat at least half a pizza WITH a bacon cheese burger and fries and chinese food. how disgusting lol0 -
My biggest problem was that I didn't eat...All Day! No Breakfast, Work though lunch. Late afternoon granola bar n coffee, then get home late at night and eat a big dinner, and dessert and a snack before bed...then went to bed on a full stomach....That is a essentially the training diet for Japanese Sumo Wrestlers!!
And I didn't exercise at all!!! in 2009 I hit the wall....generally people change when the pain of change is less than the pain of staying the same.0
