I hope you would not be offended by me stating that your breast augmentation is obvious, at least to me, but I'm a nursing student. I would never comment, let alone insult, a woman for having them done, but I think it's important to realize that if the end goal is to have natural looking breasts, it is a rarity for that to happen. They almost always end up looking too round, too hard, and too high on the chest.

What makes you think that I wanted to have a super natural look? It doesn't offend me when you say mine augmentation is obvious, part of that is because they are still healing and new. Once I have fully healed they will look very different. But even then I did not have to goal of a super natural look. And I got what I wanted.

There are many different looks, and a good doctor can help you get the look that you want. If you want super natural it can be done. If you want fake, it can be done. They do not almost always look round, hard, and fake. It is a person choice.

Interesting... My mom's had hers for probably about 15 years and hers still look hard and unnatural.

newsflash, medicine has advanced in the last 15 years.

i am overwhelmed by the veiled b1tchyness of SOOOO many women on this site.

it is truly pathetic and perfectly demonstrates the reason why i rarely interact with women who arent professional, highly driven and articulate.

    they are never b1tches.

If she has had them for 15 years, that is a big reason. There are much newer options out now that won't look like that. Back then women only had one option for implants. Now you have a choice between round and anatomical, saline or silicone, plus different diameters and projections. If your mom had her's done today they could look completely different. A lot depends on the surgeon's technique and training, which has also come a long way from where it was when your mother had hers done. If you'd like some more information there is plenty out there, I can provide you with a few websites that have educational resources about today's augmentation.

You may not always be able to tell if a boob job is fake by looking at it, but you can definitely tell by how they feel. And I would argue against that, as I can always tell if it's fake/natural by how round the breast is - natural boobs will not have the shelving effect when they are pushed up - they look squishy instead of hard. Natural breasts *should* spill over to the side when you lay down on your back and *should* be more conical when you're bending over. This obsession with having a very perky round boob is something that's been pushed by the media - it's not something that many women have naturally as they age.

I've gone back and forth between whether or not I think they're ok. Personally, I think plastic surgery in general (aside from reconstructive for those who are burn victims, breast cancer, etc to restore what was there before) just feeds into the superficiality of our society. Someone stated that if every woman got a boob job, nobody would be able to tell. Well, I argue that if plastic surgery was only reserved for those times when it was really needed, women (and men) would not feel the pressure to live up to a standard that includes placing fake materials in your body, going under general anesthesia, and risking your life for the sake of physical appearance.

That being said, I know several friends that have had them done, and they were happy with their results. But it did not solve their insecurities with their body, nor did it suddenly make their lives better. It's not a quick fix for your self-esteem at all.

You are more than your boobs. Period.

Totally not true. My natural breasts had an amazing shelf look. How could you possibly profess to know the intricacies of every breast of every woman? It is all about your natural upper pole shape and the amount of fat or breast tissue you have under it. Your comments are completely self centered and superficial and show no real grasp or understanding of why women have these surgeries.

currently looking for someone to purchase mine please

myfreeimplants.com 4 of my friends had their boobs bought for them on this site. lol

haha really. Someone would pay for another persons BA just for a little bit of conversation. Unbelievable.

Seriously, you make a page and it's a dollar for men to send you a message and they can donate to your sweater kittens. There will be pervs who want you to do nasty stuff, but they all found super sweet guys who donated to it. One of my girlfriends and her husband are actually really good friends with one of the guys who donated.

    BAHAHAHA! I believe it!! ;-)

Not at all, I really hope you didn't misread my previous post as I think I'm the only one who said, "trashy." Natural boobs, no matter what the size are beautiful. Fake boobs, like I said, "in my 'humble' opinion" are trashy, mainly when you have the super skinny girls with these balls just sitting on their chest. My opinion greatly differs when the operation was done due to surviving breast cancer or the like.

Obviously you know nothing about implants. I don't see why you are in this thread if it does not apply to you. You are trolling and offending some people. Disrespect and rudeness will get you nowhere.

My "trashy balls" as you call them do not look like balls. I am a skinny girl with larger implants.

    Bikini2.jpg

I think its a matter of preference. i love boobies. Real or fake. But if they are fake they must be done correctly.

I am going to DISAGREE with the person who said they are trashy. I dated a girl who had beautiful ones. She is real skinny and had an a cup. She went to just a B cup and they were beautiful on her. You don't have to disrespect people just because you don't like fake boobs. And PS your boobs in the pics are AWESOME!!

Im definately getting a boob job!!

At the moment Im a 42HH - they are massive, they try and kill me when I sleep and they cause no end of problems when I buy clothes - but I love them!!

Losing weight will mean that they are going to get smaller, and this saddens me, a lot! However, due to a history of breast cancer, and having the faulty gene, I have a 90% chance of developing breast cancer at some point so chances are Im going to lose them anyway. My plan is to lose weight, get healthy and get big fake boobs!

They arent for everyone, its a very personal choice - but for me, its a definate YES!

Umm so what about naturally big boobed women? Are we just out then? I like how everyone thinks small boobs are elegant and desirable while big boob are trashy and ugly. I happen to have naturally big boobs, so in order for me to be more desirable I should get them reduced??

Not at all, I really hope you didn't misread my previous post as I think I'm the only one who said, "trashy." Natural boobs, no matter what the size are beautiful. Fake boobs, like I said, "in my 'humble' opinion" are trashy, mainly when you have the super skinny girls with these balls just sitting on their chest. your opinion, is a ****ty opinion.

they arent fake, theyre as real as anyones. you can touch them therefore theyre real.

That's real mature. No, they are not "real." They did not come from your body, they are not made of muscle or breast tissue. They are bags filled with silicone or salt water.

your entire demeanour on this subject implies boob envy.

    just sayin.

I've got a great 34C rack. No boob envy here.

so why label all women who arent breast cancer survivors who have had surgery trashy?!

Please read all of what I said. I said, "MAINLY" the super skinny girls with these balls on their chest. That is trashy, granted your's do not look trashy as they fit your body, and I'm sure you don't care about my opinion but still I'm against boob jobs

being against something for no apparent reason is ignorant. Whether you want to admit that to yourself or not, frankly even if i were super skinny, which i dont think i will ever be, why should that alter how you percieve me as a person?

im not trashy because i choose to enhance my body. no-one is.

and in answer to the tattoo comparison, i feel exactly the same way, i have plenty of ink, and i think people who judge me based on that artwork upon MY body are foolish ignorant A-holes.

I'm against breast enhancements (except for the medical reasons) because it's superficial. You're feeding into what society and the media has told you you should look like - whether you want to admit that to yourself or not. I feel you should be happy in the body that you have, everyone's bodies are beautiful and shouldn't be altered because of society.

You think that trying to weigh 104 lbs isn't superficial but feeling beautiful in your own skin is?

I was small breasted until my first pregnancy...I went from a small B to and F!!!! Insane! Once I was done nursing I was down to a c/d then got pregnant again and had giant F boobs.
I learned my lesson, be careful what you wish for :-)
I couldn't button any shirts, I got a lot of unwanted attention, running was a joke, sleeping without a bra impossible. etc!

As I am loosing weight and no longer nursing (for the past 2 years) my boobs are downsizing. I am hoping for a B once again!!

However - I totally get that you may want to reduce, lift, tuck, fill out your top etc! Just don't go overboard as you may regret it!

It irks me to my very core just how judgmental, opaque and narrow-minded and just plain ignorant some women can be towards women who have breast implants. I understand there is a stigma towards breast implants and some may believe every woman who has them might look and act like Pamela Anderson but on the contrary most of us are educated and exceedingly intelligent women who are wives and mothers. Not all women with implants are porn stars or bimbos! Most women with these heinous allegations are naturally big breasts and pass judgment on women who want to change their appearance. To my knowledge 60% of women who choose to get implants do it for deformities and I fall into the 40% of women who get it purely for cosmetic reasons. But you know what? I may have gotten my augmentation for cosmetic reasons but my breasts had always been naturally small, after having my son and trying to do what was right for his health by breastfeeding him, I lost all the volume in my breasts. I was less than an A cup before getting my breast augmentation. I understand that I could have lived with breasts that were smaller than my ten-year old niece’s, but I wanted to feel like a woman. Yes its social pressure and society’s idea that women should have the curvaceous figure, but it’s also a woman’s choice to change things she is unhappy with. Does it make me any less than a woman without implants? No. I really hope that one day the stigma associated with implants will cease and people can make a conscious effort to not be so judgmental.

Get response! I hope you show lots of people how well-adjusted you are...

For those who are curious about how to differentiate real from fake.

@Tiny - while I think the term "trashy balls" is insulting and unnecessary, I was stating that you do have obviously round breasts that are unnatural looking. I assumed you posted the picture to prove that they did not look too round or unnatural, my apologies.

The trashy balls came from a previous poster who stated large augmented breasts look trashy. I posted the picture to show a different look then the other picture that had been posted. No apologies necessary!! It's all good. :) Sometimes things don't come across as well on the internet as they do in spoken word.

Me too...I'm saving now. I'm not to far from my goal weight, but I'm far from saving 5k. My hubs says he'll match me dollar for dollar..but he also said that about pounds I've lost and he hasn't lost a lb =) I have a lot of saving to do

Because I believe that this idea of living up to the standard of perfection portrayed in the media is damaging for many women, especially when they go into the surgery thinking everything will be fixed afterward?

I hope this was a misquote on your part.
