absolutely brilliant. Its stories like this that really push me to carry on. Im finding the gym hard work, but i do push myself and make sure i go every other day. I have back problems and am getting over a broken foot (4th and 5th metatarsals) but hopefully soon i will be fit as a fiddle and can up my cardio in the gym from walking to running on the treadmill.0

It's messages like these that keep me movtivated. When I started MFP, after 3 days I was ready to give up. Now after 3 weeks I am 10 lbs lighter and eager to get to my goal, I have never had any will power when it comes to diets, but your story just gave me a mental boost. Thanks for sharing and you look amazing!!!:flowerforyou:0

leanmashene57: I don't think banishing all sweet things is a good idea, so for me it was about moderation or 'earning it' I am not a big chocolate fiend, but those american Reeses's pieces (it is peanut butter wrapped in chocolate) are one of my favourites. Now I get one (about 115 calories) after I complete a 5K run. I think it is important to have a reward system in place- just not go overboard- so for me I have that once a month. I like yogurts so I buy the low fat versions of vanilla or toffee and enjoy those.

Mmm, anything Reese's is my downfall - that said, here in the UK, at least in my area, it's hard to find shops that stock them.
I've found one that stocks Reese's products, along with Nerds and Hershey chocolate bars (I've tried the cookies and cream one). All amazing, but all strictly treats!
I wonder when I'll be brave enough to do before and after pics?0 -
Fantastic you look great, keep up the good work and don't let it slide. :happy:0
