    I play World of Warcraft

I have all of weird al yancovics music

Though I despise all anime except both versions of the Hellsing Series and "Akira" and "Ghost in Shell" the rest is crap ...so yeah

    I watch Anime... kind of.

Mythbusters would be my dream job

    Big Star Trek fan

Moderate Star Wars fan... sorry but a Borg Cube would piss on and break the Death Star... It is not a star nor is it deadly ...

    Soilent Green is People

Fahrenheit 451 one of my favorite all time books, but I no longer own a copy. I want it to be a fond reading memory so therefore I refuse to read it again... Fire is bright fire is clean.

I have debated Picard vs Kirk and have won

I took Astronomy and Physics in 9th grade for fun and ended up in my sisters class with her being a senior... She did not appreciate that.

And last but not least... I write Harry Potter and Star Trek fan literature... Oh god that one stings a little... hurts so good.

    Picard won right? :-)

The best day of the month is the day the new National Geographic comes in.

I took the European History AP test for fun. (Didn't take a class or study for it)

I programmed a football game for my calculator in high school.

I set nearly every electromagnetism lab on fire.

    I read ZDnet almost daily

I randomly bust out into singing Ice Ice Baby often, Do Me by Bel Biv Devoe a not too far behind second.

I dance just like the guy in the Black Keys "Lonely Boy" video

I have a penchant for reciting the Gettysburg Address and Caesar's Eulogy.

Every trip to Wikipedia ends up in a spiral passing through naval battles of the War of 1812.

  • No, Kirk!

NOT a Star Trek person, but I just have to point this out:
    Kirk - creepy Priceline commercials
Picard - sexiest old bald man alive

Picard wins on that basis alone.

I TOTALLY ALMOST SAID THAT! lol and then theres the other one from Enterprise... but Quantum Leap does not go in star trek.
and yea... of course its Picard...

I MAY accept the "new kirk" from the new star trek movie... eventually. we'll see how it goes first.

I collect postcards and stickers and get all excited like a little girl when I get "REAL" mail from someone.
    I sing at my desk.
It is pretty much impossible for me to take a self-portrait without making a stupid face.
I like to say things like a character from Monty Python. Example: Mart of Wal or Dew of Mountain.
I also like to give people nicknames based on their current actions. Example: Grumpy Gus or Sad Sally
My gf and I don't just watch Jeopardy, we answer the questions and keep score. Loser has to do some chore that the other usually does.

All jokes aside....Wii Jeopardy DID indeed have the wrong answer for a question. I don't remember the exact question, but the answer was Martin Luther King, not MLK Jr. My gf seriously almost tossed the controller. For that reason we didn't buy the game.

Love world of warcraft. Started playing Skyrim but took an arrow to the knee.

Also read way to many nutritional papers, books, blogs. Pretty much my second full time job.
  • I know i am a nerd because i can look up one word online, then spend a half hour tangent on related features of that said word.
That and playing fallout, oblivion (just started) and broke off WoW for a bit.
    That and glasses.... lol

lol. job related, or just for fun?

I once spent an afternoon at work watching videos of ships being launched... I especially liked the ones where things went wrong. lol.

Well I've just spent the last two hours at work discussing the merits of what order to show Star Wars to your kids so they get the most out of it. Release order? Episode order? Others? BUT I know I'm a nerd because we decided that we'd need to have at least 3 kids to test it on in order to see it's impact not only on their enjoyment and understanding of said series but also to better *kitten* the wider impact, if any, on their lives [political inclination, average lifetime earning and average lifetime relationship length (both friends and lovers.)]

Read this blog entry to discover more: http://www.nomachetejuggling.com/2011/11/11/the-star-wars-saga-suggested-viewing-order/

    I'll get my coat.
