I just made these and they are divine! Thanks for the recipe. I made some adjustments. I only had less than half a cup of dates, and I used 3 small bananas and applesauce instead of the oil. Also I got 39 biscuits out of my batch and when I calculated the calorie content, each biscuit/cookie came out to just 24 calories!!! 24 calorie biscuits that taste this good, I don't know if any other recipe can beat that! I think its replacing the oil with applesauce which gave such a big drop in calories.

Bump! Sounds good but I don't have any dates and not sure if I even like them. LOL

    Thanks for sharing!

The other banana cookie led me to this recipe.
    Makes 30 for 56 calories each 2.4 g fat
    Ingredients

    3 ripe bananas
    2 cups rolled oats
1 cup dates, pitted and chopped
    1/3 cup vegetable oil
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Stir in oats, dates, oil, and vanilla. Mix well, and allow to sit for 15 minutes. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly brown.

Thanks! I'll substitute the oil for apple sauce and dates for raisins or dried cranberries or dried blueberries.
