7 days in - WooHoo!
Jesus is Love - my old step counter started missing steps and was evenually reading about half of what I was doing. That is when I bought a new step counter.

03/01=7259 not 10k. but I was moving it doing chair massage.. woo hoo.

03/03= 3134 forgot my fitbit at home for the moring. it would have been about 3k more steps
03/04= 3584 did climb 8 flights though... I was cleaning all day. So was moving just not taking that many steps. oh well. .
03/05= 8255 forgot the fitbit at home but downloaded it on my phone. Might be off a few steps.
03/06= 6855 close but no cigar..
03/07= 7233 a little better.

3/5 = 12,638 * Made myself take a walk at 5:30pm tonight. Had I not, I would have been reporting a very low step count today!
3/6 = 2,262 * I had to stay home this morning to make phone calls before work. I worked an extra hour and after making dinner and eating I just didn't get out and walk. *sigh.*
3/7 = 5,190 * Egads! I worked an 8 hour shift, went to my son's school to withdraw him before 10am.... and totally fell flat after skipping lunch (didn't get a 'lunch' break until 5:30 pm - worked 10am- 6pm) so didn't walk for exercise at all.
3/8 = 5,130 * Another morning shift and no time to walk after work again. Tomorrow I don't go in until 1pm and the same for Sunday, so I hope to make up my steps lost the last three days then!0 -
3/7 -- 2983 (not a good start but things will get better)
3/8 -- 3707 (ever so slowly the steps creep up. Maybe tomorrow I'll actually get a chance to do some good walking).

I'd like to get in on this, even though starting late. 10k/day is difficult with a sit-down job and plantar fasciitis for the past 9 months, but I will make my goal 7k for a bit and see where I land on average.0

Some here have paid as little as $4. Mine cost $30 but it is very small.
And they only run as far you do0 -

With this challenge its best just to jump in and see how many you do to start. I know when I first started I could be as low as 2000 steps and often did not make 10k.0 -

We bought Fitbits and they have really helped us step up (pun intended). Since we bought them we have been a lot more active and try daily to get a min of 5k with most days ending between 7500-10000. As of today for the month of March I am at 72,259

I'm in! Good thing my pedometer tracks 7 days back. I just started using it on the 5th. My goal will be to do at least 8000. Not looking so good but will definitely do better!
