Hot black coffee or hot tea.
Or Adipex.
I'd go with the coffee/tea option.0 -
Add Chia seed to your diet. You can eat them straight or in water, or you can mix them into another food you might eat. They absorb fluid and fill your belly for hours but are rich in nutrients.0

Exercise. It's free. There are side effects, though. Lower depression, less anxiety, cardiovascular health, weight loss.0

Water.0

Yes, water. I makes such a HUGE difference in weight loss for me.0

Agree with the water and excersizing. Try to eat smaller portions throughout the entire day with tons of veggies and higher proteins to keep you full longer. I'm on 1300 calories a day and am constantly eating all day long. It's doable without having to resort to taking pills, etc.0

oh really great idea...how much are they?0

I just wanted to clarify that I do support using exercise and water but seeing as the OP was asking for supplements, I assumed that they already knew those... LOL Chia seed is really good for you so it's a good addition to any diet, I mix them into my tuna and it's FAB.0

Water and add some lemon slices. It works. Also, green tea...I've learned to drink it without adding sugar and it's pretty good. Plus I feel full afterwards.
Other hints, I chew sugarfree gum sometimes when I just want to snack on something and I'm not really hungry. This helps. And if its nice out, I take a walk or go to the mall or something. Anything to keep my mind of snacking. All this works great.0 -

I agree. The more water, fruit, and veggies I eat, the fuller I am. Also, eating sweets and foods with a lot of sodium open up my "I'm hungry, I need more" gates.0 -

I assume this is about the seeds. My local store has a 30 serving bag for around 15 bucks but you can buy them online for cheaper. I just got them locally because I didn't want to go through the hassle of ordering without knowing if I liked it!0 -
Really, really, super hot coffee... Drink it as fast as you can.0

I don't agree with using suppressants unless you plan on taking them forever. I try to eat a lot of protein throughout the day it really helps to curve my hunger and cravings.0

I just bought chia seeds at the health food store! I was also thinking about saffron supplement, Dr. Oz says it's a natural suppressant0
-
I buy my Chia at www.nuts.com - much cheaper and very quick delivery...I put them in my yogurt and green shakes0

Okay ive been back on track for about a week now but my problem is that i can go for about a month straight before i go on a binge and can no longer control my foods or appetite and it throws me off track TOTALLY! so this time around im trying to avoid that ...I am now excercising and drinking plenty of water but thats not doing it0

I eat protein with every meal. I also have some carbs. The higher protein/higher fiber combination holds me the best. If you think you are really hungry, open a can of green beans and eat them. If you don't want those, then you have hunger from stress/boredom/emotions. Get out, move. Then 30 minutes later check in with your hunger. Good luck!0

caffeine is an appetite suppressant, and can help you push harder in your workouts if you have some about 20 minutes before you work out.0
-
oh really... have you tried the dr. oz diet?0
-
caffine? what kind0

Maybe you're restricting yourself too much so it feels like a diet instead of a lifestyle change. I still like to eat out and get fast food but I've changed what I order now and go with the smaller portions like a kid sized meal instead so that it still fits within my goals for the day or get a burger but skip the fries, etc.. I also give myself a break each week and have a 'spike' day where I don't worry too much about what I'm eating but still try to make sure it's not too extreme. Then I get right back on track the next day so I don't feel like I 'can't' have something. It helps me to stick with this instead of other programs where I felt restricted and couldn't eat certain foods and I ended up quitting them after a month or two.0

Have you tried to have a "cheat day" or spike day once a week? You still log all your food, but eat double your regular daily calories, and eat whatever you feel like....It works, and you definitely stop the cravings and make it manageable if you can look forward to "legally" have a day to eat "bad" stuff.....0 -

totally with you on this!! I am the same. I'm on day 3 of MFP....0 -
Protein
Water
Fiber
Oh wait... Did I miss something?0 -
I agree with water and protein - but if I have an off day, I try to wear fitted workout gear the next day -- ready to walk/stretch/workout whenever and reminds me not to pig out or I'll have to exercise more!0

how old is the person saying this? because at 50.... that world doesn't exist. one day of double calories = 1 week of getting rid of the 2lbs you gained on the day of double calories.0 -
green tea!!! 5-6 cups a day! There are other great health benefits too!0

Unless you went over by 6,000 calories then any "weight" you gained is water weight. It wasn't fat. And hey, isn't THAT what we're trying to lose here?Okay ive been back on track for about a week now but my problem is that i can go for about a month straight before i go on a binge and can no longer control my foods or appetite and it throws me off track TOTALLY! so this time around im trying to avoid that ...I am now excercising and drinking plenty of water but thats not doing it
