How do you open your Banana?

From the top. How do you open it from the bottom?? (Other have probably asked this, I didn't look through the thread...) :-)0

From the top, with teeth (easiest way for me). To shake things up I'll try it from the bottom next time.0

I am in the middle of teaching my kids to open their own banana's. I just thought everyone opened them from the top, didn't know there was another way....that being said,
Everytime my kids open them, they grab the steam and yank it back, one part will split, they will just keep going and the next thing you know the banana has squished out the little slit!!! Then they don't want it....but today is the start of a new day
from here on out banana's will be peeled from the bottom, I will have to pick some up on my way home, kinda excited....hehehe

Never even seen or heard of it being opened from the bottom before, I've always peeled from the top. Will have to give the other way a go lol0

From the top if I plan to eat it all. If I just want half now and the other half later, I simple break it in half. No need to dirty a knife :-)0

Aww man, I was hoping we were talking dirty here. I like to keep my bananas guessing what way I'm gonna eat em... Sometimes I start at the tip, sometimes at the bottom and sometimes right in the middle. Most of the time I go for the plums first tho, lol.0

From the top. I know it is easier and the correct way to open it from the bottom but with 40+ years of doing it one way its habit.0

My son told me the right way is from the bottom, I thought it was crazy, doesn't even look like it should be opened from there. But I got so tired of trying to open bananas from the top that wouldn't open without mushing the heck out of my banana, so opening from the bottom. Now it's the only way I open it. It opens right up without any problems, so I'm convinced my son was right. lol0

I LOVE peanut butter on my naners, but honestly I never gave thought to opening it from the bottom?? lol I will try to remember to try that next time tho!!:laugh:0
