    I take the top and flick it. If it opens, then I'll eat it... If not, someone else is gonna have a bruised banana for lunch. *;)

    OMG...my husband opens it from the bottome because that is how monkeys do it!!! This is too funny.
    I still open mine from the top...habit I guess!

    .... I had no idea that you can open it from the bottom. So, of course, the top. I've never seen anyone open it any other way.

    It never occurred ot me to try it from the bottom. Does it really keep the stringy things off the banana? I am so excited to give it t try.

    This was brought up a while back. I never knew the bottom was an option! ha So I tried it. Just once. It wasn't any better than the top. Someone said you didn't get the strings. I got the strings and also my finger in it. I'm a top girl! I like my bananas just after they turn yellow, so sometimes I need a knife- at the top!
