Rude MFP posters...

If I'm being honest since paying attention to the forums I have seen the rudest people I've seen on any forum I've ever been on.
In fact, the posters at the atheist vs. theist forum I frequent are more polite then some of the posters here. It's really quite... interesting. My theory is people are hungry and it makes them really darned cranky.0 -
Rudeness is often in the eyes of the beholder. I just tried to help someone out with spelling on MFP very delicately and did not insult them at all even though their ENTIRE subject line was wrong AFTER answering their nutrition question of course and then 2 pages of anti-Heather flaming started, lame.
The ignorant who respond quickly with their heart and not their head are the true rude people.0 -
Folks,
You won't get an argument from me that our forums have their share of rude responses.
However, the best way to combat this is to simply click "report post" and let the moderators enforce the guidelines.
No matter how well-intentioned, threads about the problem only ever create more friction on the site. So, please let the moderators do their thing. Just click "report post," comment to the moderators as necessary, and then move on to happier threads.
Thanks,
Steven
