For ME, one of THE steamiest...romantic....and electric moments in RECENT movie history is in the remake of Pride and Prejudice! Throughout the movie they are all but enemies...but you can feel the "underlying chemistry" there...if they can just see beyond the pride and prejudice that each one has towards the other. And there is a scene where she is escaping to get some space in the rain and he follows her..and declares his love..which she of course being full of pride...scoffs at....but then they are so close and he almost kisses her....and WOW!!
    Pics from it!!

What about the steamy scene between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Mr. and Mrs. Jones , where they are destroying the house, but you can tell they can't keep their minds on anything else but their torrid attraction for each other, wow, what a scene!

Yes, but I love the one on A&E-- oh my gosh, it's like a six-hour miniseries with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy-- I had never seen him before-- oh my-- now that is one beautiful man!!!!! His eyes in that movie positively haunted me.

I have it on tape and my daughters watched it a year or so ago-- they loved it, too.

I haven't seen that one but I've heard it's good and a little closer to the book. I have read the book too.

    I should rent it!

    Hi

I'm not big into animated movies....but the part in The Lion King was pretty sad when the dad dies

I'm not one to cry easily during movies.....but the scene in the color Purple when Oprah gets blamed for something she didn't do and taken away from he4r family...is pretty freaking sad
Also a corny movie Called Best Friends...has anyone but me scene or heard of this one?
Burt Reynolds and Goldie Hawn....sad scene when they break up

I have to admit I only recently saw The notebook and though I didn't love it, it was better than I expected and the main guy in it is SMOKIN'
    :smooched:

brain freeze..can't think of anything else?

Also, the scene on The Sound of Music...when they are dancing in the courtyard when the big ball is going on is great.

I always feel like I am intruding on some "private" moment when I watch it!!

Is it now? If she really loved him, she would have jumped but not before telling him to go home, drink a beer and watch football.

Yeah, Suicide is just not that romantic if you ask me! the Romeo and Juliet thing has always been over rated!
