I hope some of these people are joking! How do U expect to eat candy, peanut butter cups ect... and lose weight!?
amen!0 -
if your not hungry, dont eat, if you are, have something like 2 slices of toast with natural peanutbutter and an apple or banana. i have about 1000 calories "left" to eat from working out today, but i dont intend on eating them. I just ate dinner and i'm satisfied. man people. we're being taught how to eat well, and listen to our bodies! not stuff our selves silly with unhealthy things!
good luck!

wow that is a big deficit to have left! I frequently have 300-400 left, and have a bedtime snack of something comforting....or just shrug and skip it if I'm not feeling hungry. (I can't beleive I said that. Me, not hungry, or at least very willing to keep eating? that's just crazy talk!!!)0

my arm, and possibly a leg....but i would totaly go over on that:laugh:0

If it fits the calories, and she's already getting a balance of healthy fruits, veggies, fats and lean protein... there's absolutely no harm in eating chocolate, candy, cake, pie, etc.
ditto.
defiantly do NOT agree that a calorie is a calorie. if you ate ****ty foods within your calorie limit you would a) feel like **** all the time
b) look fluffy,bloated and lumpy
c) have a very unhealthy inside.
this is about making us healthier individuals remember!! eat the calories if you wish, but make it nutritious, good for you food!0 -
...what would you eat?!
As a meal? BBQ ribs (mmmmm)
Otherwise cashews, a nice drink of fresh juice (or alcohol) and maybe something sweet :blushing:
But if there was nothing I really wanted then I'd leave the deficit (as long as it was from exercise and not just under eating) x0 -
Wine
Crab
Butter0 -
I'd be grateful. If you're not hungry, don't try to eat 1000 calories, there's no point. Only eat when you're hungry or you're undoing what could be progress!0

Deep. Fried. Snickers.
a cal is a cal. lol
you couldn't pay me to eat that. lol.
You wouldnt have to pay me to eat that! Hahahaha0 -
If I had 1000 cals left I would eat whatever I wanted (probably either chocolate, wine or toast with butter and peanut butter) and then I would sit down to make a better plan for tomorrow, because today has clearly not gone well.
(and I don't beleive that my chocolate or wine indulgence would make my "insides very unhealthy". We're not talking about surviving only on chocolate and cake here, we're talking about a treat on top of a healthy day's meals. At least, that what I mean).0 -

I'm wondering how many calories you guys are allowing yourself per day to have 1000 left at the end of the day. I get excited to have 250 calories left where I can have a scoop or two of low cal chocolate ice cream...or a piece of cheese and a few crackers. I would love an entire bag of chips ahoy cookies and a big glass of ice cold skim milk. That is going to be my celebration dinner when I hit my goal!! lol0

My original post included the macros I had by 6:00PM
Calories: 937
Carbs: 59
Fat: 14
Protein: 139
I usually have approximately 400-500 calories left for dinner...however I had an unexpectedly long cardio session which is why I had so many calories left for dinner.
I strongly believe in eating my exercise calories, at least 70% of them because I am trying to retain as much muscle mass as possible while at a caloric deficit. I theoretically have 1000 calories left to eat, but realistically I'll probably eat 700-800.
I've had a fairly nutritious day, as my macros should indicate.0 -
I would give my left arm to have 1000 calories left!! I have never been in that situation EVER! I love food tooooooo much!0
-
If I had that high of a deficit and was really in the mood to sin and eat something that I rarely eat? Easy!
Reese's Peanut Butter Cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory
That baby will blow ALL your macros out of the water. Plus you'll need an ice cold glass of milk to go with it. :drinker:0 -
Moderation is the key, people!! Sheesh!! If your honest with yourself, have eaten healthy, and feel hungry, eat what you want, with in reason!!! Can we honestly say we never have the occassion were we eat the candy, pizza, soda, wine (for some), and still lose weight? If we make room for it in our calories, it's okay. Yes, it about eating healthy, but we also need to splurge at times. In my opinion those that claim to never have "treats", either lie or fall off the wagon. Enjoy your extra calories anyway you want them or save them for another treat down the road. Hats off to you for working so hard today!!!0

One bite of this will do the trick.
