I personally like facial hair on guys.. Lined up, scruffy etc... But if a guy naturally don't grow alot of facial har then that's fine too0

Great thread - I recently met a woman who told me to get rid of mine. This is SCIENCE!!!! Bye bye girl, scruff stays.
LOL
Scruff before Schtuff0 -
little bit of scruff, i like my man to appear a bit rugged, i also dont mind body hair, i prefer to be the smoothest one in a relationship :happy:0

this isn't sexy? lol
LOL handlebars... the best! :}D0 -
I prefer to be a little scruffy or lined up, but I prefer my women to be clean shaven ;P0

i hate beards and facial hair
clean shaven is the best
anything past 3 days is gross
:]
no shave november gets to me every year0 -
I love beards. I'm currently trying to persuade my partner to grow a massive one that'll make him look like a gene-splicing experiment involving Brian Blessed and ZZ Topp (although he has a reasonable beard as it is). He looks like a bespectacled lumberjack, see?
(I'm horribly hungover in this picture and leaning on him for support)0 -

back....back...back...and GONE a Homerun lmao0 -
clean shaven! scruffy is painful!!! looks cool, but to touch?!?!?! too much like a cactus!0

currently: clean thin line outlines the jaw line into the side burns.0

Clean shaven! My man is incapable of growing facial hair... His scruff is just scratchy and not very nice to kiss! lol (He's in the Marine Corps and has to shave for work, so I'm so grateful that he still shaves for me when he's around!)0

Had <<< Since ive been about 16 .. Look like a lil kid without one ;-)0

I LOVE beards!0

I've basically worn a beard since I was 21, however in March of 2011 I decided to shave off my beard and went clean shaven for about six months; I hadn't gone more than three or four days at length without (e; some form of) a beard prior to this. Then I grew out a beard again until October, shaved it off for the month, and have been growing again since no shave November.
On the one hand, I kind of like being clean shaven. I must admit I have a nice jawline.
However, I also like having a beard ... and I've ALWAYS wanted a thick beard, as such, I'm just letting it grow and grow.
I cite the following as reference:

omg. i ~love~ beards.0

i grizzly adams.....just not the whole eating people part0

Clean shaven or neatly lined up. Depends on the person and how it looks on them. Definitely not into scruffy, like someone is just too lazy to do any grooming.0
-
It honestly depends on the guy's face for me. Some guys look great with stubble, others terrible. Some can rock beards, others can't. It goes on a face by face basis!0
-
Depends on the guy. I like clean shaven and I also like scruffy. Generally I don't like beards, but there are some exceptions.0
-
Like others have mentioned, it really does depend on the guy, but I think most guys look good with a 5 o'clock shadow. A man is a man after all, so it's great if he looks like one. I understand there are some people who can't grow one, but I'm sure their soft face will suffice.
I should've had scruffy on there as well. It all ties in eventually.0 -
I think it depends on the guy! Some guys look gorgeous with facial hair (not grizzly-like) while others look hott with a clean cut!0

Thinking of trying a goatee for summer.0

I rock the scruffy look, a sort of "does he own a razor" and "that's not quite a beard" vibe and I get mixed feedback. Some ladies hate it, especially up close and personal (pash rash).
I don't think i'd ever grow a beard just because a woman liked men with beards.
I don't think I'd shave especially either -take me as i am dammit- but then again i have heard of friends that get a velcro effect with their beard and downstairs activities with the ladies - haha0 -
Depends on the dude. Scruff is sexy, but it rubs your nose raw when kissing.0
-
I prefer the clean shaven look, but I would never tell my hubs to shave his beard. The day I start telling him what to shave is the day he starts telling me what to shave.0

1) I'd like to add that JUST a mustache is probably the hardest look any guy could try to pull off. Some can, of course. But it's rare.
2) how is it possible that, out of many 'it scratches my face' type comments, no one has said 'it tickles my thighs'. I truly expected this joke from the get go! I've been let down, haha0 -
definitely depends on the guy. not usually a fan of a full beard though. sometimes there is the exception. but rarely.0
-
It all depends on the guy, but I spent 7 years with a full beard & 'stache. I liked it alot, but he kept it trimmed nice. I HATE a beard that's getting long. That is gross.
One thing about a clean shaved face, sometimes I just wanna touch them! I have a guy I worked with that I don't know what it was about him, but I had to really hold back, I just wanted to stroke his face! LOL Maybe it was the black hair & blue eyes... Mmmmmercy!

Beards and facial hair on a man can be sexy. Or it can be gross.
On women it's always gross.0
