My popple,
I would roll it into the ball, and have the tail hanging out, then I would dangle it from my bed by the tail as I fell asleep...it would protect me from anything under my bed0 -
My transformers. I liked Soundwave best. I tried to mimic his voice. Eject!0

The Little People A-frame house. I loved that thing. I can still picture playing with it in my house. I want one now.
I still have my Cabbage Patch dolls from the early 80s.
I loved the Rainbow Brite dolls.
Pound puppies
Barbies--I had about 15 Barbies and a few Ken dolls and a bunch of accessories. I always wanted the Barbie dream house but never got it.0 -
I can't exactly say they were toys but...my grandma worked for a Dr. and he gave her a huge box of glass eyes. We used to spend hours goofing around with those things. I wish I had them now, they are probably worth a lot of money.
Real toys? I'd say my Easy Bake Oven, Creepy Crawlers bug maker thingy, my rock polisher and a little, red, metal cash register. lol0 -
I was busting ghosts all over my house with this...

My big wheel and my parents left it behind when we moved to TN from OH. I was so upset.0

Barbies! Me and my sister played with them endlessly - made up complicated stories to act out. I also had quite a big Smurf collection...0

Barbie. That bia had everything. Also it was fun to make them act out the soap operas my grandmother taped religiously. [shakes head] And I wonder where I went wrong. lol.
Oh, and the other day when visiting Mom she hands me this Lemon Meringue happy meal toy. I open it and immediately stuck it under my nose, and it smelled like the dolls did when I was a kid. I'm pretty sure she thought I was on crack when I said "It smells like my childhood."0 -
I was really lucky that in my church there were quite a few retired men who had been joiners etc. in the past and my mum paid a group of them to make me a doll's house. It was awesome! Was 100 times nicer than any of the plastic crap that you could buy in the shops....it was really a work of art.
My mum would take me to a local toy shop to buy furniture and dolls for it every so often (Sylvanian families!). I loved it and still had it in my room when I was a teenager 'cause it was so beautiful.0 -
On one hand, my Barbies. I was super imaginative and made TV shows, played "1996 Summer Olympic Magnificent 7 team," even did time-period play (colonial, prairie, etc.) And then on the other hand, I love love loved my Batman action figurines and Batman castle.0

and don't forget the quintessential little red wagon - drug all my stuff around EVERYwhere.
Hot Wheels & /or Matchbox cars and that orange slip-together-track. Had a great collection until my little brother came along and STOLE them. *harrumph.0 -

I loved my Barbies to be honest... I just liked dressing them up... and recreating the soap operas I used to see on tv (I was homeschooled and usually done by that time... )
