Drink a lot of water...and only water... if there's a ton a food there..grab a plate and only do small small portions of everything...OR only eat what you think is healthy. Get a bunch of exercise in today if you feel like you ate way toooo much bad food :happy:0 -

Yes!!!!!!!!!!! I'm planning on going for a walk in about 10 minutes. It's so hot out but it feels nice. First time Wogging off the treadmill in a while.0 -

I was wondering??!!
When I'm home i do a routine which is, walking brisk and walking up pretty steep hills where i live. I do this for about 30-40 minutes and up those hills i'm really sucking air!!
Think I can count this as a form of jogging?? I usally "wog" at the gym where there is a indoor track.0 -

I think that jogging is jogging, but you could count it as walking on incline, which burns more calories than just walking.0 -
Okay, Jenna . . . 1 hour and 10 minutes! I tried to jog for a bit but my stomach was hurting so I mostly walked.0

I have to watch my exercise now....I think I have "exercised induced hives"..yay.... So this week I'm going easy on the exercise to see if that's really what's causing my hives. I walked for about 20 mins and then I headed back inside.

don't feel bad!!!!! I at pizza , popcorn," the movie kind," drank soda, ate rice and orange chicken, and had Sonic on Sat. and for that I ate only half my meal at lunch and finished it off for dinner around 9pm. and that was a burger, onion rings, a couple mozzerella sticks, and a few fries and a soda:sick: , I don't drink Diet,so everywhere you see soda, its a coke and it's a full sugar one. So, Rachel, can you top that?:embarassed:
:noway: Oh yes, and the only walking i got was at the mall or in the store. I did 0 treadmil work this weekend.
Oh YEA, also, this morning my 14yr old graduates from 8th grade, so I will be going to the cerimony in about an hour and a half, then she wants us to all go to breakfast afterwards. so guess what, I think I win the "bad eating award" for this weekend.
At least I got to fulfill all of my cravings that T.O.M . brought with her.:ohwell:0 -
We all make Bad choices at some point BUT go wog and work it off - it's all OK!!!!
I convinced my hubby to jog with me Friday after work - we did 35 minutes of jogging and about 40 minutes of walking then on Saturday we walked for 2 hours - LOVED doing it together...my son also rode his bike both times so he even burned calories!0 -
aww it's ok! It's only one day. At least you're not eating like that every day of the week. I think just doing some extra exercise will help you feel better.0

oh no, it's 3days now!!!!!!!!:sad: :sad: I've decided I'm plateau breaking this week. i'm doing everything wrong and confusing my body so when i start to eat right again, i'll lose again.. :bigsmile:

So true! And it's nice to know I'm not the only one having a bad week (or had one, or whatever).
I'm sick so I can't exercise. But let's all be here to make sure we don't completely lose our motivation. If you feel like getting out of control, come here and we can help.

I'm so sorry to hear you're sick...I was sick over the weekend. I hope you feel better soon. I haven't been to the gym in a few days...:ohwell: I'm still doing the 30 day shred every day...but I feel like I should prob slow down just bc I don't know what's causing these darn hives....0 -
not to worry girls,
I have no thoughts of giving up, actually I'm planning my stratagy of attack to get myself back up and working tomorrow. I plan on running 3 miles tomorrow , just to prove that I can. and then by the end of the week, have myself eating back to normal.
I sure hope you two get to feeling better soon.:sick:

Tomorrow I'm going to go to the gym, hives or not lol. I feel yucky since I haven't been working out much.

I am feeling pretty good today, finally, I think I survived another round with TOM, and I am ready to go. I even got on the scale and I only gained 1pound, it felt like 10. so I am going to tryt to go for that 3 miles non stop today. this will be a first for me if I can do it. but my legs should be all rested, I haven't done any real exercise all weekend, and my mind seems intent on this goal today. So I will let you all know how it goes.

I did "IT" I ran my first 5K......33:37min. Non-stop:bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:
I never thought that I would be able to do it. and after the crappy weekend I had, I wasn't sure I was goingto make it, but i pushed on and made it. and then I walked for a few min. and ran another 9min. "just under 1mile" nonstop to finish off my workout. so in total I ran 42min. in a 50min. workout.
I am so amazed with myself. thanks for listening girls.0 -
That is wonderful! I bet you just felt awesome finishing that and knowing you were able to. And with such success!!!! That's a great time...in my opinion at least. Way to go! You give me something to look forward to.0

I haven't logged on this site for a few days. I read it every day but then I feel mad at myself because I"ve been skipping my woggs. But, today's the first day that I wogged again, and now that the kids are out of school and I know my marine son is doing OK, I'm back. My thirteenyear old son went with me, he was pushing me hard. That first lap was hard after missing a few days. My legs felt like jelly. Hopefully I won't be sore tomorrow. By the way, I noticed everybody is going by first name. My name is Maricela....I know its a tongue twister....so for non-spanish speakers, I go by Marty.....I don't know who came up with this....it's what my co-workers used to call me when I was in the Navy.0 -
Ha! Finally. So...I know what's causing my hives.
So I was spraying Lysol on the doorknobs and such...using Lysol to clean the bathroom floors, lysol wipes for the sinks...and all this other stuff ...annnd low and be hold, I just happened to notice tons of hives forming on my legs and arms...
I was like what the crap and then realized it was from the stinkin Lysol! OH man.... it def makes sense, bc I only break out in hives in the morning. I clean in the mornings before work. I'm not a clean freak or anything, I just like to keep things clean so I don't have to have a huge cleaning spree every week. I keep things clean along the way...any way... yea...mornings = lysol and other cleaning solutions... ok. I'm going to have to find something else to clean with or use gloves!
PHEW! I'm so glad I figured it out! At least I hope that's what it's from LOL. I'll let everyone know tomorrow and then next day if my hives are gone...:blushing:0 -
Guys...I miss y'all! I don't know if you all know but I went back to work last Monday and I haven't been able to keep up my usual routine. I was excited at first because I was away for so long taking care of my son after his accident but, it got old real fast. Everyone was so excited I was back and with the weight I lost, etc., etc. I even have a few people that we started walking 2 miles a day. It just doesn't seem like enough. Also, I'm putting in longer hours than I normally would because school is out. I'm a secretary at a local high school. We work 4, 9 hour days instead of our usual schedule which means I would be home around 3:00. Plenty of time to do my usual routine, etc. Now, I don't get home until nearly 5:00. After I get dinner and tend to my son, there is just no time. And, to top it off, I CAN'T SLEEP!!!! I'v thought about just getting up and going treadmill but I'll keep my son up. I feel like I'm becoming too blah. Even my husband says it seems the life is being sucked outta me. Help me y'all!!:sad: :sad: :sad: I've come so far! OMG! I even ate...potted meat tonight!!!!:sad: :sad: What is wrong with me!!!!! I feel like I'm falling apart mentally, physically, and emotionally.0
