I usually just have Chobani greek yogurt, but not until almost 9am...and then only because it's sitting on my desk.

I can't eat when I've just got up so I keep some branflakes and raisins at work or pick up some fruit on my way in.

Not very exciting but it's better than nothing.

Having been a breakfast skipper most of my life, I started with just a protein shake. I still do that some days. Other days I'll have 2 hard boiled eggs or multi-grain waffles. I really can tell a difference in myself when I eat breakfast. The difference is- I'm hungrier! I eat breakfast at 7. By 10 I'm hungry so I have a small snack. By 12- hungry again... follow this pattern every 2-3 hours until bedtime. Wake up- hungry! I interpret this as my metabolism kicking it up a notch, plus I have more energy throughout the day.

6/7 days a week I have oatmeal with soy milk, a scoop of protein powder, 5-6 Almonds, a teaspoon of natural PB, 1/2 cup strawberries and probably a coffee.

And on Sundays when my dad buys bagels, I have smoked salmon, cream cheese, 1 egg 2 egg whites on bagel thins.

A creature of habit, I am!!
  • M-F I do a PB&J waffle. I use the Eggo Nutrigrain waffles, Peter Pan Honey Roasted Peanut Butter and Bonne Maman Strawberry Preserves. I really need the protein in the morning. And, it's delicious.

Light high fiber english muffin with a tsp strawberry jam and 1 tsp peanut butter. Quick and easy and I make it at work since I am short on time... Also high fiber oatmeal sometimes with a piece of fruit.

you do not have to eat breakfast. Meal timing has no impact on weight loss. I usually eat my first meal at 1-2pm.

Within the week I usually switch around these things:

    1) oatmeal with blueberries and almonds
    2) egg whites with chicken sausage
    3) protein pancakes or french toast with apples and agave (I make a bunch the weekend before and then heat up at work)

Eating breakfast is really important to me so I wouldn't suggest skipping it. If you are having a hard time finding a desire to eat that early, I would start with a protein shake or yogurt and fruit. Just make sure you are getting your nutrients in to start the day!

I never used to eat breakfast, and I still don't like to. However, when I eat breakfasdt, I definitely see better results. I eat 1 hard boiled egg (1/2 yolk), one Thomas' Triple health english muffin, 1 fuji apple, 1 calcium chew and drink a glass of water and 4oz of V-8. I am STUFFED afterwards, but it's so low cal/ high fiber/ high protein, that I'm full for hours.

Most days my go to breakfast is oatmeal, usually a piece of toast with it or some fruit in the oatmeal or in the side. Another go to favorite is an egg white omelet with peppers, spinach, black beans, usually fruit on the side.

A quick breakfast I will eat something like Oikos plain greek yogurt, I usually I stir something into it, sometimes jam/jelly or this sugar free fruit glaze I have, fruit on the side or in the yogurt, sometimes it's an Atkins bar for breakfast if it's really quick and have to get going.

This morning I had a pear and an Atkins bar so far. I will go for a long walk in a bit, then come back and probably do up a small omelet for protein and to re-charge.

I mainly eat some carbs...to get my brain going. I eat some cinnamon raisin toast usually because it is just convenient to grab and go for work. I can pop it into the toaster once I am at work...

Today I was bad though and had a BLT on dark rye....

Despite what many will say eating breakfast does not speed metabolic rate, and if you are training with weight later in the day it can be very beneficial to skip. Depending on when the last meal was though I would be inclined to take in some coffee and cream to prevent shutdown of the mtor pathway which preserves lean muscle during fasting. From the most current research I have been reviewing 14 hours is what provides the max benefit from intermittent fasting without any harm to lean mass. My first real meal is not until 12pm and I have seen better fat loss with this method of using intermittent fasting for stubborn fat deposits.

Spray soup/cereal bowl with cooking spray pour in 4tbsp egg-whites microwave for 1:30 min meanwhile toast low cal bread make into a sandwich (I like a fat-free cheese slice and 2 pre-made turkey bacon slices on mine) total takes less than 5 minutes to make and you can eat it in the car.

I eat oatibix with lf milk, a spoon of superfood breakfast topper and a small bit of nutella. If I'm not feeling like the oats I make a 1 or 2 egg omelette with some smoked salmon or a tiny bit of chorizo. Definitely feel better if I eat something, but I do try to eat mid morning rather than early as otherwise I'm looking for lunch by 11am and have no cals left by dinnertime! :-)

One day I will eat a banana with 1tbs. of natural peanut butter spread on it and the next day I'll eat 1 egg w/ alittle ketchup on it. The protein really helps with my energy level.

I usually make a big batch of whole wheat pancakes and homemade turkey sausage on the weekend. I freeze leftovers and just reheat pancakes/sausage in the morning for breakfast before work.
